A valve, having a valve housing which has a fluid inlet chamber and a fluid outlet chamber, having a valve seat which is arranged between the fluid inlet chamber and the fluid outlet chamber, and having a closure body which is movable back and forth between a release position and a blocking position. The closure body abuts against the valve seat in a fluid-tight manner in the blocking position, and wherein the fluid inlet chamber and the fluid outlet chamber are connected to one another in a fluid-conducting manner in the release position. The valve seat and the closure body each have a sealing surface, which are opposite one another in the blocking state, and an elastically deformable sealing element which is arranged between the sealing surfaces in the blocking state and which completely stretches over one of the sealing surfaces.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A MULTI-SCROLL TURBINE
The invention relates to a valve assembly (100) for a multi-scroll turbine (10) for controlling an overflow of exhaust gases between a first spiral (36) and a second spiral (38) and for controlling a bypass opening (50). The valve assembly 100 comprises a lever (110) and a valve closing element (120) which is operatively connected to the lever (110). Furthermore, the valve assembly (100) comprises a spring element (130) which is designed to pre-bias the valve closing element (120) the against lever (110).
Charging device with a wastegate valve device
A charging device may include a turbine housing and a wastegate valve device. The wastegate valve device may include a flap, a spindle arm, a wastegate spindle, an axial stop, and a lever arm non-rotatably attached to the wastegate spindle. The wastegate spindle may be rotatably mounted in a bushing disposed on the turbine housing. A wastegate duct may be disposed in the turbine housing. The wastegate duct may have a duct aperture enclosed by a valve seat. The duct aperture, when in a closed state, may be closed by the flap of the wastegate valve device. A sealing face of the flap may be defined by a sequence of at least two conical peripheral surfaces arranged next to one another and each having a different inclination.
Valve and valve arrangement
A valve has a valve housing with a lid, bottom, and an intermediate housing portion between the lid bottom. The valve housing encloses a valve chamber, a flow chamber, and an actuation chamber, with at least one valve opening leading from the flow chamber to the actuation chamber. Inside the actuation chamber at least one axially movable actuator movable between a closing position to close the valve opening and an opening position to release the valve opening, one wire- or band-shaped SMA element made of a shape memory alloy to activate the actuator in the opening direction, one return element to move the actuator in closing direction, and one printed circuit board. The SMA element is attached to the actuator at a middle section and is electrically connected at its ends to the printed circuit board to be supplied with an electrical current.
