The disclosure relates to a diaphragm poppet valve. The intention is to provide a diaphragm valve which is constructed as simply as possible with few components and with valve parts through which a working fluid flows that are easy to clean. The problem is solved by a diaphragm poppet valve with a control diaphragm which is resilient in shape and separates a control chamber from a working chamber, wherein the control diaphragm is designed as a single piece on the side thereof facing the control chamber or the working chamber of the diaphragm poppet valve with a hollow portion and on the side thereof facing the working chamber with a diaphragm valve seat, wherein the interior of the hollow portion issues into the diaphragm valve seat and the hollow portion is connected to a fluid channel in the diaphragm poppet valve. The diaphragm poppet valve according to the disclosure is easy to clean because the interior of the hollow projection and the diaphragm valve seat formed by the control diaphragm can easily be flushed. In addition, the number of components is reduced by integrating a valve seat immediately into the control diaphragm itself. At the same time, dead spaces are avoided by integrating a hollow projection which can be connected to a fluid channel.

Diaphragm-sealed double-seat valve and drive

A double-seat valve includes a first closing element associated with a first valve seat, a second closing element associated with a second valve seat, a hollow rod connected to the second closing element, a valve rod connected to the first closing element and extending through the hollow rod, a first diaphragm fastened to the hollow rod and to a housing of the valve, and a second diaphragm arranged to seal a channel between the valve rod and hollow rod. The second closing element includes an annular body connected to a supporting section, the annular body and the supporting section designed to clamp the second diaphragm and the connection region to a gap seal against an interior. To simplify the design and to ensure reliable functioning under hygienic conditions, the supporting section has a leakage channel that forms a section of a fluid connection between the connection region and the channel.

Setup of valve controller

A valve controller for controlling a valve and a valve comprising the valve controller are disclosed. The valve has an actuator and a flow controlling unit. The valve controller is configured to execute a setup process and comprises a first pilot valve that can energize the actuator by allowing a first pressurized fluid to enter the actuator and de-energizing the actuator by allowing the fluid to leave the actuator. The valve controller further has an input device by which the setup process can be initiated, and a memory unit for storing setup parameter values. The setup process comprises: determining parameter values indicative of the functionality of at least one of the valve controller, the actuator and the flow controlling unit, and storing the parameter values as setup parameter values in the memory unit.

The valve controller is further configured to obtain one or more first parameter values indicative of a functionality of the equipment at startup of the valve controller. The valve controller is configured to monitor the equipment during operation of the valve controller for determining one or more second parameter values indicative of the functionality of the equipment and determining if a change in functionality of the equipment has occurred based on a comparison of the one or more second parameter values with the one or more first parameter values.

The steam valve 10 further includes: the casing 20 housing the valve element 32, the valve element 42, the valve seat 60, and the guide tube 43; a drain discharge hole 23 formed at a bottom side of the casing 20; a drain pipe 70 provided with a shutoff valve 71 and communicating with the drain discharge hole 23; and a flow direction changing part 80 which changes a direction in which steam having passed between the valve element 32 and the valve seat 60 and flowing along the guide tube 43 flows toward the drain discharge hole 23.

A double-seat valve includes a housing having a passage between first and second connections. First and second valve disks are arranged in a housing internal space. A leakage space formed in the passage in the valve closed position is sealed off by the second valve disk. A hollow rod connected to the first valve disk has a leakage channel connecting the leakage space and a housing part. A cleaning gap is formed between the second valve disk and a passage wall. A housing opening is sealed with a diaphragm that separates the housing part from the internal space. A section of the first valve disk is received in an opening contour in the passage in the valve closed position, and delimits a cut-out in the first valve disk, in which the second valve disk is received in the valve open position.
