Multi-seat gate valve
A multi-seat gate valve with a pair of sealing members separated by a gate wherein each sealing member is secured between a bottom edge surface on the gate and a pair of locking members until the gate valve is at a fully closed position and proper seating is achieved.
Eclipse valve assembly
An eclipse valve includes at least two reciprocating obturator plates captured in a sealed housing. The obturator plates fill the width of a cavity within the housing and can be moved between aligned and unaligned positions. Each of the obturator plates have an opening through the plate, and when the obturator plates are aligned, the openings through the plates are aligned with each other, and with front and rear openings in the housing, allowing flow through the valve. The plates can be moved to reduce the overlap of the openings through the plates within the housing in an eclipse manner to adjust the rate or amount of flow, and to shut off flow by completely un-aligning the openings.
Valve gates
A valve gate may include a threaded rod, a nut engaged with the threaded rod, a movable body mounted on the threaded rod, a seal, a pair of levers, and first and second housing components that at least partially enclose the other components. The threaded rod can be turned to drive translation of the nut and the movable body along the threaded rod. Translation of the movable body along the threaded rod can drive rotation of the levers outward away from the threaded rod, and rotation of the levers can force the seal to expand outward from the threaded rod. Such expansion can force the seal into engagement with an inner surface of a pipeline.
Gate Valve
In embodiments, a gate valve includes a body including a flow passage from a first opening to a second opening, and a gate channel from the flow passage to a third opening, the gate channel having a central longitudinal axis and a ridge defining a perimeter of the opening. A valve cover can fit over the third opening and exert a clamping force on the ridge, the clamping force having a first force component perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis and a second force component parallel with the central longitudinal axis. In embodiments, a valve cover includes a first mating surface configured to extend over an opening of the gate valve, a first clamping section extending at a first non-parallel angle from a first side of the first mating surface, and a second clamping section extending at a second non-parallel angle from a second side of the first mating surface.

Gate valve
A gate valve includes a valve body including a gate channel intersecting a flow passage that extends from a first opening to a second opening. In embodiments, the gate channel has a width constant across a length extending from an intersection of the flow passage and the gate channel away from the flow passage. In embodiments, the flow passage is defined by a perimeter surface, a semi-annular slot through the perimeter surface, and a center axis through a center of the first opening and the second opening, the semi-annular slot extending on both sides of a first plane, the first plane perpendicular to a center longitudinal axis of the gate channel, the first plane parallel to and intersecting the center axis of the flow passage. In embodiments, the flow passage has an outer diameter, and a span of the gate channel containing the diameter is greater than the outer diameter.
Fracturing valve systems and methods
Fracturing systems with frac valves having gates for controlling flow of fracturing fluid are provided. In one embodiment, a fracturing apparatus includes a frac valve having a housing with a cavity transverse to a bore. A gate is positioned in the cavity and is movable between open and closed positions to selectively block flow through the bore. The gate includes a seal assembly positioned to seal against a sidewall of the cavity to surround the bore and block flow through the frac valve when the gate is in the closed position. The seal assembly can be actuated between a less-energized state and a more-energized state following movement of the gate within the cavity from the open position to the closed position. Additional systems, devices, and methods for fracturing are also disclosed.
Device and method for aligning a solar panel with respect to a roof-mounted installation rail prior to installation
The invention relates to a device (1) for aligning a solar panel (20) with respect to an installation rail which is attached to a base, in particular a roof, prior to installation. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising at least one solar panel (20) and at least one such device (1) which is coupled to a frame (21) of the solar panel (20). The invention furthermore relates to a method for aligning a solar panel (20), with respect to an installation rail attached to a base, in particular a roof, prior to installation by using at least one such device (1), optionally followed by the installation of the at least one solar panel (20) to the support rail.
BACKWATER VALVE ASSEMBLY
A backwater gate valve assembly having a gate valve movable between a closed position where the gate occludes an outlet opening and an open position where the gate valve does not occlude the outlet opening. The gate valve is coupled to a motorized actuator that is configured to move the gate valve between the open and closed positions upon sensing of a predetermined level of water in the body of the backwater gate valve assembly.
Stem anti-rotation device for nuclear reactor power plant gate valves and maintenance method using the stem anti-rotation device
An anti-rotation device for preventing separation of a valve stem and valve disc(s) in a gate valve in a nuclear reactor power plant of the type where connection means, such as a wedge or disc hub, is threadedly engaged by the valve stem to actuate the valve and a method for maintenance or repair of the valve without disassembly of the valve or removal of the valve actuator.
