So as to close a fluid connection between the inlet section (24) and an attached outlet section (25, 26) of the valve member accommodation space (8) connected to a working channel (37, 38), the valve disk (49) is located with its valve member sealing surface (56) on the opposite body sealing surface (54). Either the body sealing surface (54) or preferably the valve member sealing surface (56) is formed on a collar-like, axially raised sealing edge (57), which has a non-circular, elongated shape, whereby the way valve (1) possesses a high power density.

The valve closes the bypass when a differential pressure overcomes a preadjusted force of a spring element. For this purpose, the valve possesses a displaceably mounted valve body with an integrated throttle and a seal face which closes a through opening when the valve body is shifted against the bias force of the spring element due to the pressure difference.

MEDICAL CLEANING VALVE

A valve may have a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The valve may include a valve stem having a lumen extending from a first opening at a proximal portion of the valve stem to a second opening at a distal end of the valve stem. A plurality of seals may be positioned relative to the valve stem. The valve stem and seals may be configured so that a fluid entering the inlet is prevented from flowing to the outlet in a first position of the valve stem and relative to the inlet and the outlet. The valve stem and the seals may be configured so that a fluid entering the inlet flows to the outlet in a second position of the valve stem relative to the inlet and the outlet, the second position being more distal than the first position relative to the inlet and the outlet.

Contamination resistant cartridge valve

In one aspect, a pressure regulating valve assembly is provided. The valve assembly includes a housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a sleeve positioned within the housing, and a spool at least partially positioned within the sleeve. The spool includes an outer surface having a shoulder, and the spool is configured to translate within the sleeve between a closed position and an open position. The valve assembly further includes a cap coupled to the sleeve and surrounding at least a portion of the spool, and the cap includes an inner surface with a flange extending therefrom. In the closed position the spool shoulder abuts against the cap flange to define a sealed metering edge. In the open position the spool shoulder is spaced from the cap flange to unseal the metering edge and define a metering window to facilitate fluid flow therethrough to the fluid outlet.

A change-over valve comprises a spool housed in a spool housing, and a pilot chamber facing at least an end of the spool. An axial passage is formed in the spool along the axial direction. While being connected to a pilot chamber, the axial passage communicates with a tank passage via a small hole having an opening on an outer periphery of the spool in accordance with displacement of the spool, to discharge the air in the pilot chamber to the tank passage. Since the axial passage is formed at a location offset from a center axis of the spool, a length of the small hole is shortened and the small hole is easily processed.

An axial passage is located between an outer sleeve and the inner sleeve and extends in an axial direction. The supply passage opens to one end portion of the axial passage while another end portion of the axial passage is configured to connect with a valve timing adjustment device. A supply check valve is installed in the axial passage and is located on a radial side of the supply passage where a radially outer side of the inner sleeve is placed. The supply check valve enables a flow of the hydraulic oil from the supply passage toward the axial passage and limits a flow of the hydraulic oil from the axial passage toward the supply passage.
