A directional control valve for a dual action hydraulic pump is provided. The directional control valve can include a valve body comprising four ports and a rotor positioned within the valve body and comprising a plurality of passages configured to connect and disconnect the ports of the valve body. The directional control valve can also include a plurality of shear seal discs, each positioned adjacent to one of the plurality of passages, a sensor, and a motor configured to adjust a position of the rotor. The motor can be a brushless motor or a stepper motor.

A bypass valve includes a base defining a base sealing surface, the base defining a upstream utility bore, a downstream utility bore, a meter inlet bore, and a meter outlet bore each extending into the base sealing surface; and a selector defining a selector sealing surface positioned in sealing engagement with the base sealing surface, the selector defining a primary passage and a secondary passage, the selector defining at least one primary passage bore extending into the selector sealing surface and connecting in fluid communication with the primary passage, the selector defining at least one secondary passage bore extending into the selector sealing surface and connecting in fluid communication with the secondary passage, the selector being rotatable relative to the base about and between a meter position and a bypass position, the selector connecting the upstream utility bore in fluid communication with the meter inlet bore in the meter position.

A valve, such as for a high performance chromatography system for separating components of a sample liquid introduced into a mobile phase, includes a rotor and a stator, wherein a flow path can be established or inhibited by a rotational movement of the rotor relative to the stator. The valve also includes a compensation element, which is axially arranged together with the rotor and the stator and, in an operating state of the valve, causes an axial pressing of the rotor relative to the stator. The compensation element includes at least one spherical surface to compensate for an axial misalignment between the rotor and the stator.

COOLANT FLOW CONTROL VALVE

A multi-level rotor for a coolant flow control valve assembly, which accommodates an increased number of inlet ports, outlet ports, and flow channels using a single rotor located in a housing, enabling a larger number of flow configurations. The housing includes nine ports which may function as an inlet or an outlet, which facilitates different flow configurations. For a thermal management system, reduced cost and less space utilization is achieved by a reduced number of valves, where the multi-level rotor is able to fluidically connect multiple inlets/outlets. This enables different flow configurations, depending on the degree of rotation. The channels at different levels are sealed from each other within the housing. The flow channels are manufactured into a single entity, therefore always having the same positional accuracy relative to each other when the rotor is repositioned.

Six port valve

A multi-port valve provides three inlets and three outlets. In many embodiments, seven flow configurations are provided. A stemshell can rotate internal to a housing to direct fluid from specific inlets to specific outlets while saving flow through various inlet/outlet ports as required by the various flow configurations.

A movable valve body in the valve has a passage and is shiftable between a plurality of positions in each of which a respective one of the inlet ports is connected to the outlet port via the passage. A controller moves the valve body between the positions such that, after each time the valve body is in a position connecting one of the material inlet ports to the outlet port and material has passed through the passage, the valve body is moved into a position connecting the passage with the flushing inlet port for flushing out the passage.
