Spool valve
20190056036 · 2019-02-21 ·

A valve includes a bore within a valve body having a central axis. A plurality of galleries in the bore define flow paths for hydraulic fluid. A spool is positioned in the bore, and the spool is moveable along the central axis between a first position in which hydraulic fluid from a central pump gallery is prevented from flowing to first and second working galleries and from flowing to one or more tank galleries; a second position in which hydraulic fluid from the central pump gallery is in fluid communication with both the first and second working galleries simultaneously; and a third position in which the first and second working galleries are in fluid communication with the one or more tank galleries simultaneously.

LOW PROFILE FAUCET HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A ROMAN TUB
20190017624 · 2019-01-17 ·

A faucet handle assembly for a Roman tub has a low profile and can be installed from above or below the tub deck. A valve body extends along a longitudinal axis and defines a cartridge cavity. A lower end defines water inlet and outlet passages and a threaded external surface. An upper end defines a threaded internal surface. A mixing cartridge with a rotatable stem and a cartridge spacer are carried in the cavity with the spacer axially between the cartridge and the inlet and outlet passages of the valve body. A fastener has a threaded external surface threaded to the threaded internal surface of the valve body upper end. An upper mounting ring has a hub disposed about the upper end of the valve body and a flange extending radially outwardly from the hub.

Sanitary fitting

A sanitary fitting includes a pipe section which has a valve seat and which receives a valve upper part which bears against the valve seat and which includes a head piece which is traversed centrally by a spindle which is rotatably and/or pivotably mounted in the head piece and via which a control disc can be moved relative to an inlet disc within the head piece, wherein the valve upper part is releasably connected to the pipe section, wherein a device for the defined positioning of the valve upper part within the pipe section in at least two rotary positions offset by an angle of orientation is arranged.

A Cartridge Provided with ECO Function for a Single-armed Mixing Faucet

A cartridge provided with ECO function for a single-armed mixing faucet, that comprises a cylindrical housing (2) that has a cylindrical inner cavity defined by a cylindrical inner wall that has a central axis (26); an arm (1, 25) that can be moved with respect to the housing with at least two degrees of freedom, and an actuator disc (6) moved by the arm and connected to the control ceramic disc of a conventionally arranged pair of water-mixing ceramic discs, wherein the actuator disc (6) comprises a pair of parallel planar walls extending in radial direction, wherein the spacing between the parallel walls decreases in a pair of short transition zones at a predetermined intermediate distance from the centre (9) of rotation of the actuator disc (6), the cartridge comprises an arced limiting element (5) made of a resilient material that has a pair of spaced arms that engage and are guided by said parallel walls, the limiting element (5) can be moved only in radial direction relative to the actuator disc (6), and the radial position of the limiting element (5) is defined by a guiding path connected to the housing (2), and the limiting element (5) can be moved in radial direction with respect to the actuator disc (6) substantially without any effort in a first radial zone lasting till the transition zones, and when the limiting element (5) is moved further in radial direction, the moving force has to first overcome the resistance caused by the need of opening the arms required to allow for the arms to move further along the transition zone when being guided by the parallel walls in the range wherein the spacing between the walls is greater.

Air-based cooling for data center rack

A high-velocity low-pressure cooling system (100), especially suited for data center applications, includes an air coolant loop (102), a non-air coolant loop (104) and a cooler unit (126) for heat transfer between the loops (102 and 104). The air loop (102) is used to chill ambient air that is blown across heat transfer surfaces of equipment mounted in data center racks (110). In this manner, effective cooling is provided using a coolant that is benign in data center environments.
