The valve body has a peripheral wall portion facing a communication passage port at one end of the communication passage, and adjusts an opening area of the communication passage port according to its rotation position. The peripheral wall portion has a closure portion capable of fully closing the communication passage port, and openings arranged apart from each other in the circumferential direction. The plurality of openings include a large opening and one or more small openings smaller than the large opening. The centers of the small openings are axially offset.
VALVE DEVICE
A housing has a housing main body and an outlet port. The housing main body includes a cylindrical housing inner wall that defines an internal space therein. The outlet port fluidly connects the internal space and an outside of the housing main body to each other. The valve has a valve body rotatable about an rotation axis along a rotation axis of the cylindrical housing inner wall. The valve is configured to selectively open and close the outlet port depending on a rotation position of the valve. The housing inner wall is formed such that a distance between the housing inner wall and the axis of the housing inner wall varies in a circumferential direction.
CONTROL VALVE AND COOLING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A control valve includes: a valve housing; a coolant port formed in the valve housing and through which coolant inflows; an oil cooler port formed in the valve housing; a heater port formed in the valve housing; a radiator port formed in the valve housing; a bypass flow path through which the coolant port and the heater port communicate; and a ball valve, wherein the coolant port and the oil cooler port selectively communicate and the coolant port and the radiator port selectively communicate while the ball valve rotates inside the valve housing, wherein a valve inlet which communicates with the coolant port is formed in the ball valve, and a first section outlet, a second section outlet, and a third section outlet, which selectively communicate with the valve inlet are formed consecutively on an outer periphery of the ball valve.
MULTIWAY CONTROL VALVE HAVING A SEALING CARRIER
The present invention relates to a multiway valve for controlling at least one flow of at least one fluid, in particular within a motor vehicle, including at least one housing and one valve member disposed at least in areas within at least one valve space which is configured at least in areas within the housing, and by way of changing a rotary position of the valve member within the valve space about a first rotary axis, at least the amount of an inflow of the fluid from at least one first fluid connector into the valve space and/or at least the amount of outflow of the fluid out of the valve space is adjustable by at least one second fluid connector, and the multiway valve includes at least one insert which is disposed at least in areas between the valve member and the housing and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the housing.
Combined ball valve for compressor bleed air and methods
A combined ball valve for compressor bleed air modulation is provided. The combined ball valve includes a housing defining an inlet, and first and second outlets. A metering element is positioned within the housing and within a flow path extending from the inlet to the first and second outlets. The metering element includes first and second flow ports and is rotatable within the housing to modulate compressor bleed air from the inlet to neither, one, or both of the first and second outlets. The combined ball valve utilizes high temperature materials in a relatively lightweight package.
BALL DRAIN WYE STRAINER VALVE ASSEMBLY
A ball drain wye strainer valve assembly includes a wye strainer located adjacent to a T-ball valve within a unitary body. The ball drain wye strainer valve assembly includes an additional valve member. The combination of the valve members permits the flushing of the wye strainer screen from either upstream or downstream. A drain is also incorporated to allow for the system draining, flushing, or air-purging during the initial installation and subsequent maintenance of the screen and wye strainer.
ROTARY-TYPE VALVE DEVICE
A rotary-type valve device is provided, and includes: a tubular valve having an inner passage Ip and opening parts opened in an outer circumferential wall and rotating about a predetermined axial line a shaft rotating integrally with the valve, a housing accommodating the valve, supporting the shaft to be able to turn, and defining a communication port causing the inner passage to communicate with outside; a passage member assembled in the housing such that that the passage member abuts on an outer circumferential wall of the valve and defining a radial-direction passage. The valve includes a recessed part in the axial line direction and surrounding one end part of the shaft. The housing includes a tube part inserted into the recessed part and supporting the one end part and a support hole supporting the other end part of the shaft.
ROTARY-TYPE VALVE DEVICE
A rotary-type valve device includes: a tubular valve having an inner passage and opening parts opened in an outer circumferential wall from the inner passage toward an outward side in a radial direction; a housing accommodating the valve and turnably supports the valve; a tubular passage member assembled in the housing such that the passage member abuts on the outer circumferential wall of the valve and defining a radial-direction passage; and a biasing spring biasing the passage member toward the outer circumferential wall The passage member includes an abutting member abutting on the outer circumferential wall, and an intervening member having an annular pressing part intervening between the abutting member and the biasing spring and partially pressurizing the abutting member. The abutting member includes an annular sealing surface aligned with the annular pressing part in a biasing direction of the biasing spring.
Fluid Control Device
A fluid control device (100) having a housing (10) with at least one first port (16) and at least one second port (18, 20), wherein a valve body (30) is enclosed in the housing (10), the valve body (30) providing a fluid path (60) having a first path portion (62) proximal to the first port (16) and an opposing second path portion (64) in a distance from the first port (16) and proximal to the at least one second port (18, 20), the fluid path (60) being switchable between at least a first position (80) and at least a second position (82) in relation to the at least one second port (18, 20) by rotating the valve body (30) around the first main axis (22) of the at least one first port (16).
