A valve housing for a check valve comprises a housing body defining a valve opening and a first pin extending across the valve opening defining a pin axis (A). The valve housing further comprises a pair of first pin support elements provided on the housing body on opposing sides of the valve opening and extending towards the first pin, the first pin support elements for contacting and supporting an under side of the first pin. The valve housing further comprises a pair of first pin location elements provided on the housing body on opposing sides of the valve opening, each first pin location element comprising a strip element having a mounting portion mounted to the housing body and a locating portion which extends over an upper side of the first pin and around at least an upper circumference thereof to locate the first pin.

An inlet tank for a charge cooler comprises a manifold portion, a turbocharger inlet port, and a supercharger inlet port. The turbocharger inlet port is in fluid communication with a compressor wheel of a turbocharger and the manifold portion of the inlet tank. An opening is formed in a sidewall of the turbocharger inlet port. The supercharger inlet port is in fluid communication with an electric supercharger and intersects the turbocharger inlet port. The opening formed in the sidewall of the turbocharger inlet port provides fluid communication between the supercharger inlet port and the turbocharger inlet port. A valve element selectively determines when a flow of air from the supercharger inlet port enters the turbocharger inlet port through the opening based on a pressure differential present between the air exiting the compressor wheel of the turbocharger and the air exiting a compression mechanism of the electric supercharger.

Dual check valve fluid circulation system for dishwasher appliances

A fluid circulation assembly for a dishwasher appliance includes a pump, a diverter, and a valve. The diverter includes an inlet and a plurality of outlet ports. The inlet of the diverter is in fluid communication with the pump for receiving fluid from the pump. The valve is in fluid communication with the diverter via one or more of the plurality of outlet ports. The valve includes a housing, a dual check valve assembly mounted in the housing and a plurality of conduits. The dual check valve assembly selectively directs fluid from the diverter to one or more of the plurality of conduits.

A refuel adapter, which may, among other things, be suitable for aircraft refueling includes a casing and a butterfly valve disposed within an interior of the casing. The butterfly valve includes a body defining an opening and a disc rotatable within the body about an axis of rotation to selectively close the opening. The disc includes at least one opening therethrough, and a first flap and a second flap are each rotatably attached to the disc to selectively cover a portion of the at least one opening. The butterfly valve may be movable between (i) a static position in which the disc and the first and second flaps are in a closed position, (ii) a refuel position in which the disc may be in a closed position and the flaps are in an open position, and (iii) a defuel position in which the disc may be in an open position.

A check valve including a valve housing defining a pair of valve openings; a pair of flappers pivotably mounted for rotation relative to the housing between an open position in which they permit fluid flow through the respective valve openings and a closed position in which they prevent fluid flow through the valve openings; and a stop element arranged such that the flappers will contact the stop element in their open positions. Each flapper includes a primary flapper element pivotally mounted to a hinge pin that extends across the valve, and a secondary flapper element. The primary flapper element further includes at least one flapper opening formed therethrough. The secondary flapper element is pivotally mounted such that it may rotate relative to the primary flapper element for opening and closing the at least one flapper opening in the primary flapper element.
