A hydraulic solenoid valve including a first port, a second port, a third port, a housing having at least one land between the first port and the second port, the at least one land including at least one balancing groove, and a spool that moves within the housing. The first port has a pressure higher pressure than a pressure of the second port, and the at least one centering groove is in communication with the third port. A flow of hydraulic fluid from the first port to the third port helps remove contamination from the at least one balancing groove and/or a flow of hydraulic fluid from the third port to the second port helps remove contamination from the at least one balancing groove.

Valve stem and assembly

A valve includes a valve stem having a shaft and including first and second poppet members with a seal portion extending radially outward from the shaft and disposed on the shaft between the poppet members. The valve further includes a valve body having a valve bore within which the valve stem is disposed for reciprocating axial movement and includes first and second ports that defining passageways through which gas or liquid may flow into or out of the valve bore. The valve body further includes first and second valve seats against which the first and second poppet members selectively seal with the seal portion being in sealing engagement with the valve bore between the ports.

Pressure compensated switching solenoid valve

A pressure compensated switching solenoid valve is provided having a solenoid connected to a hydraulic housing that has a first chamber defined between first and second valve seats and a second chamber. A sealing tube is connected to the hydraulic housing, and an armature is slidably located therein. A sealing element engages an end of the armature, and is movable via the solenoid and the spring between a first position, in which a poppet contacts the second valve seat to provide one communication path, and a second position in which the intermediate sealing surface contacts and seals against the first valve seat to provide a second communication path. At least one pressure compensation fluid pathway in the hydraulic housing extends from the supply port to a generally annular upper surface of the armature to compensate for pressure fluctuations from a pressure supply that act on the poppet.

A dosing valve is provided for ejecting a liquid from a nozzle outlet channel. The dosing valve has a main body, a valve actuating element movable within the main body, and a valve closure element connected to or actuatable by the valve actuating element. The valve closure element is movable within a dosing chamber between an open position, in which it is lifted off from a nozzle sealing seat, and a closed position, in which it lies against the nozzle sealing seat. For the pneumatic activation of the dosing valve, a switching valve is provided by means of which a working chamber of the dosing valve can be selectively ventilated or charged with a pressurized fluid.

Valve assembly with vent port between supply port and control port

A valve assembly includes a housing with a bore, a supply port in fluid communication with the bore, a control port in fluid communication with the bore, and a vent port in fluid communication with bore such that the vent port is located at a location of the housing that is between the supply port and the control port. A valve seat assembly with a valve seat body is disposed within the housing and defines a control chamber in constant fluid communication with the control port, a vent path from the control port to the vent port, and a supply passage which provides constant fluid communication from the supply port to the control chamber. A vent valve member is selectively seated and unseated with the vent valve seat to selectively prevent and permit fluid communication from the control port to the vent port respectively.

Electropneumatic solenoid valve, field device having solenoid valve and diagnostic method for electropneumatic solenoid valve

Electropneumatic solenoid valve includes an electromagnetic actuator with an energizable coil and a solenoid armature movable relative to the coil, an air chamber with three air channels, and a valve member. The three air channels include first and second air channels and a control air channel. The valve member, in a first closed position, closes the first air channel and releases the second air channel and which, in a second closed position, closes the second air channel and releases the first air channel. The valve further includes a driver movable in a first and second actuating directions and that connects the valve member to the solenoid armature, a driver-pretensioning spring arranged between the driver and the solenoid armature, to provide a pretensioning force to the driver, and a restoring spring between the driver and the electromagnetic actuator to provide a restoring force to the driver against the driving direction.
