Fluid valves

A fluid valve use in a turbomachine in a high temperature location includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, a fluid circuit defined between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, and a solenoid including a solenoid casing. The solenoid is disposed between the fluid inlet and fluid outlet. The solenoid is configured to move a valve member between a closed position, at least one partially open position (e.g., any number of suitable positions), and a fully open position to selectively meter fluid flow through the fluid circuit. The fluid valve can include a valve casing, wherein the solenoid and valve member are disposed in the valve casing.

Vehicle brake system with adaptive pressure calibration

A method of calibrating a solenoid actuated valve includes: providing a brake system including a fluid pressure source: providing a valve having a solenoid, and wherein the valve is in fluid communication with the fluid pressure source; operating the fluid pressure source to provide a constant flow of fluid to the valve; energizing the solenoid of the valve with a constant current such that fluid flows through the valve; measuring the pressure of the fluid flowing at the valve; adjusting the current sent to the solenoid until a predetermined pressure has been obtained; storing a nominal current value of the current required to obtain the predetermined pressure; and calibrating the valve by adding a correction offset factor to the nominal current value for future actuation of the solenoid of the valve.

A solenoid valve (1) is provided comprising a housing, an inlet, an outlet, main valve means located between said inlet and said outlet, said main valve means comprising a main valve element, pilot valve means adjusting a pressure difference over said main valve element and having a pilot valve element, a coil, a yoke arrangement magnetically linked to said coil, and armature means for moving said pilot valve element. Such a solenoid valve should achieve a large opening stroke without unduly increasing the coil and yoke arrangement. To this end said armature means comprise a first part attractable by said yoke means to perform an opening stroke, and a second part carrying said pilot valve element, wherein said first part is movable relative to said second part in a first section of said opening stroke and is dragging said second part in a second section of said opening stroke following said first section.

Valve cartridge

A valve cartridge for insertion into a valve block for a manifold valve for accommodating a valve in the valve cartridge includes at least one through opening for the passage of fluid flowing to the valve and a filter device for filtering the fluid. The valve cartridge includes a first part and a second part, which are interconnected in such a way that the through opening is formed by the first and second part, the filter device being arranged between the first part and the second part.

The present disclosure relates to a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve includes an armature provided inside the sleeve, a plunger configured to ascend and descend by the operation of the armature, an elastic member configured to press the plunger toward the armature, a magnet core having a through hole in which the plunger and the elastic member are provided and forming an inner space in a longitudinal direction, a valve seat provided in the inner space and on which an orifice penetrating in an axial direction is formed to be opened and closed by the plunger, and a plurality of flow resistance members each including a ring body interposed between the valve seat and the magnet core to generate a flow resistance of a braking fluid, and a slot formed at one side of the ring body to penetrate through the ring body so that the braking fluid passes therethrough.
