The device comprises a first disk with a hole; a second disk, coaxial with the first disk and comprising at least another hole; the second disk axially rotatable relative to the first disk, and the flow rate of the water corresponds to a cross-section of a water passage through the second holes, the cross-section associated with an angular displacement of the disks.

Method and system for controlling actuation of flush apparatus

A method of controlling actuation of a flush apparatus includes the steps of configuring a control module to actuate the flush apparatus for completing a flushing cycle periodically; and after a given unused time period of the flush apparatus, enabling the control module to enter into a sleep mode to stop an actuation of the flush apparatus. Therefore, during the rush hours, the control module is configured to actuate the flush apparatus frequently and during the off rush hours, the control module is configured to actuate the flush apparatus seldom.

Valve with a pilot valve seat arranged in a diaphragm
10767786 · 2020-09-08 · ·

The invention relates to a valve (1) comprising a main valve (2), a pilot valve (3), a housing (4), an inlet (5) and an outlet (8). Opening and closing of the main valve (2) is controlled by the pilot valve (3). A pilot valve seat (10) is arranged in a diaphragm (6). A pilot chamber (11) is arranged in the housing (4) separated from the inlet (5) and the outlet (8) by the diaphragm (6). Task of the invention is to provide a valve with a lower cost. According to the invention a support member (17) supports the diaphragm (6), wherein the support member (17) is guided in the housing, and wherein a radial gap (26) is arranged between the radially outer end of the diaphragm (6) and the housing (4) in a radial direction perpendicular to the opening direction of the pilot valve (3). Thereby, a cheaper, less resistant material for the diaphragm can be used.

Flow-rate adjustable valve and method of manufacturing the same

The present invention is a flow-rate adjustable valve for adjusting a flow rate of liquid flowing through a flow path. The flow-rate adjustable valve includes: a rotatable member; a lifter linearly movable by a rotation of the rotatable member; a valve body linearly movable by a linear movement of the lifter; a stopper configured to restrict a movable range of the lifter in a fixed state of the stopper in which a position of the stopper is not able to be changed; and a stopper-holding member configured to hold the stopper selectively in the fixed state or in a provisional fixed state in which the position of the stopper is able to be changed.

SELF-CLEANING WATER PASSAGEWAYS ON DIAPHRAGM INSERT

A valve is disclosed a valving member positioned in an internal valving cavity and operable to control a flow of water therethrough. The valving member includes a diaphragm and an insert. A passageway through the diaphragm communicates with a bleed slot, preferably a tapered bleed slot, and a scallop of the insert. The scallop cooperates with the diaphragm to form a bleed holes when the valving member is in a closed position. The diaphragm and the insert at least partially separate when the valving member is opened to expose the bleed slot and scallop. The diaphragm rolls up to contact the insert when the valving member is closed to create a wiping action to flush any trapped debris from the bleed slot.

SOLENOID VALVE

A solenoid valve includes: a valve body with a valve seat therein; a sealing assembly provided on the valve seat; and a plunger to be driven by a solenoid to make the sealing assembly open or close the valve seat. The solenoid valve is characterized in that: a casing is coupled to the valve body and has an outer bottom portion protrudingly provided with a guide post; a flow channel is formed in the guide post; the sealing assembly includes a rigid disk, a flexible diaphragm, whose bottom side faces an orifice of the valve seat, and a central opening, in which the guide post is partially fitted; and the plunger has a bottom portion facing the inlet of the flow channel. With the guide post being stationary and linking the plunger and the sealing assembly, the solenoid valve features reduced power consumption and a low chance of solenoid failure.

ACTUATOR WITH STATIC ACTIVATED POSITION

Actuators having electroactive valves are described herein. The actuators can move from a first position to a second position and lock in the second position using an electroactive valve. The device can include an actuator having a fluid-impermeable membrane. The fluid-impermeable membrane can define a compartment, the compartment having a central region, an edge region extending from and fluidly connected with the central region, an electroactive valve between the central region and the edge region, and a dielectric fluid. When actuated, the actuators can force fluid through the electroactive valves and into the edge region. Once in the edge region, the electroactive valves can prevent return flow until receiving an actuation signal.

Temperature actuated electromechanical pressure relief valve

Presented are embodiments of pressure relief valves for use in water supply systems to prevent damage thereto caused by over pressure resulting from freezing of the water therein. In one embodiment the pressure relief valve is included in an electromechanical solenoid controlled water valve particularly useful in appliances such as washing machines, water heaters, refrigerators, etc. Prior to the main valving member, a spring loaded pressure relief valving member is included. Once the pressure within the valve exceeds the spring force, which is set below the failure pressure of the water supply system and the valve, the pressure relief valving member opens to allow a flow of water therethrough. Alternatively or additionally, a temperature active device such as a bi-metal disc is interposed between the spring and the pressure relief valving member to provide actuation thereof below a predetermined temperature.
