ENGINE SYSTEM HAVING COOLANT CONTROL VALVE
An engine system having a coolant control valve unit includes: first and second valve members each having a rod protruding through a center part of the first and second valve members, respectively; a third valve member having a piston rod disposed through a center part of the third valve member; a temperature-sensitive driver attached to one side surface of the third valve member; a cam member contacted with an end part of the first and second rods and of the piston rod; and a cam member driver to rotate the cam member and control an opening of first, second, and third coolant passages by the first, second and third valve members, respectively. In particular, the other end part of the piston rod is inserted into the temperature-sensitive driver to push or pull the piston rod depending on a sensed temperature of the coolant.
Water safety shut-off valve
The present invention is a water conservation safety shut-off valve assembly for use on locations which normally have intermittent water usage but need to indicate when there is constant water usage, such as a leak. The valve assembly has a valve body with a fluid pathway and a valve plug held in an open position allowing water to flow through the pathway. As water flows through the pathway, a sensing device detects water flowing through the pathway and starts a timer. The valve closes the pathway, stopping the flow of water through the valve assembly when the time elapses. The valve assembly indicates whether the valve plug is in an open or closed position.
TUB FAUCET HAVING A CONTROL VALVE WITH REDUCED BACKPRESSURE
A water control system including a showerhead and a tub faucet. The faucet has a valve configured to automatically restrict fluid flow through the faucet and direct fluid to the showerhead as a function of a parameter, such as a predetermined water temperature. The faucet has many modes of operation, including a Reset Mode, an Auto-Divert Mode, a Bypass Mode, and a Cold Mode. A flow control device generates minimal back-pressure when in the Reset Mode such that water does not undesirably back flow to a shower head.
