Elastomer lined self-locking tie
An elastomer lined self-locking tie includes an elongated strap, at least one cavity or recess in the elongated strap, an elastomer segment, and a locking head. The elongated strap includes a head end positioned opposite a tapered end. The tapered end includes a first surface positioned opposite a second surface. The cavity is positioned in either the first surface or the second surface. The elastomer segment is positioned within the cavity and extends beyond either the first surface or the second surface. The locking head extends from the head end of the elongated strap and includes an orifice shaped to receive the tapered end of the elongated strap and the elastomer segment.
Saddle that adjusts to a bundle diameter
This document describes a saddle that adjusts to a bundle diameter. In some aspects, the saddle is a component of a cable-tie mounting assembly and forms a curved or planar mounting surface, which is flexible to support a bundle. The saddle includes an aperture for receiving a cable tie. The saddle also includes two laterally-extending distal flexible tabs that are flexible to conform to a bundle diameter based on a force applied by the cable tie disposed within the aperture and tensioned around the bundle to secure the bundle to the mounting surface of the saddle. The flexibility of the saddle surface to adjust into mating contact with the bundle (i) significantly reduces gaps created between the bundle, the cable tie, and the distal flexible tabs and (ii) provides side support, preventing rotation and lateral movement of the secured bundle and reducing the likelihood of damage to the bundle.
Adjustable cable tie head
A cable tie includes a cable tie head; and a strap. The head is configured to receive the strap. A least part of the head comprises a deformable zone configured to deform when the strap is received in the cable tie head to secure the cable tie to an elongate article.
Cable fastening assembly and method for using same
The disclosed inventive concept provides a cable fastener assembly for securing a plurality of cables onto a stud. The cable fastener assembly includes a housing and a punch-nut for securing the housing onto the stud. The housing includes a base, a sidewall, and at least one attachment member extending from the sidewall. The base has an opening formed therein for receiving the stud and the sidewall includes at least one attachment member for securing a cable tie thereto. The punch-nut includes a base and an opening formed therein for receiving the stud. By providing interchangeable punch-nuts to be used with the housing, the disclosed inventive concept can accommodate studs having different shapes. Preferably, a pair of perpendicular passageways is formed within each attachment member. A cable tie may then be secured within each passageway for securing cables to the housing along different axes.
Integrated release feature for pawl-latching devices
This document describes an integrated release feature for pawl-latching devices. In particular, the integrated release feature is integrally connected to a pawl that is connected to a locking head of the pawl-latching device. The locking head defines a slot that extends through the locking head and includes a first channel conjoined with a second channel. The pawl is disposed within the second channel and positioned internally to the locking head. The pawl has multiple pawl teeth to engage serrations on an elongate strap when the elongate strap is disposed within the first channel. The integrated release feature includes at least one wall shaped to define multiple sides of an open cavity in a midsection of the pawl for receiving a release tool, and the wall has opposing ends that both face the first channel and have one or more additional pawl teeth.
CABLE BINDING DEVICE
A cable binding device includes a first binding member including a first binding part binding a circumference of a first cable and a first fastening part connected to the first binding part. The first fastening part is fastened to a fixing hole formed on a panel. The first fastening part is also protruding to the opposite side of the panel. The cable binding device also includes a second binding member including a second binding part binding a second cable on the opposite side of the panel and a second fastening part connected to the second binding part. The second fastening part is fastened to the first fastening part protruding to the opposite side of the panel.
System for spacing and fastening tubular structures
A system for spacing and fastening tubular structures, and a related method. The system includes a spacer element configured to engage a plurality of tubular structures, to spatially separate the plurality of tubular structures from one another, and to distribute stress in the plurality of tubular structures. The system further includes a fastening element configured to extend around at least a portion of an outer surface of the plurality of tubular structures, and to fasten the plurality of tubular structures to the spacer element in an adaptively spaced configuration.

This document describes an integrated release feature for pawl-latching devices. In particular, the integrated release feature is integrally connected to a pawl that is connected to a locking head of the pawl-latching device. The locking head defines a slot that extends through the locking head and includes a first channel conjoined with a second channel The pawl is disposed within the second channel and positioned internally to the locking head. The pawl has multiple pawl teeth to engage serrations on an elongate strap when the elongate strap is disposed within the first channel The integrated release feature includes at least one wall shaped to define multiple sides of an open cavity in a midsection of the pawl for receiving a release tool, and the wall has opposing ends that both face the first channel and have one or more additional pawl teeth.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FORMING AN ELASTOMER LINED SELF LOCKING
An apparatus, system, and method that relate to a self-locking tie with one or more elastomeric features are disclosed. A strap of the self-locking tie includes one or more features that physically anchor the strap to a base of a mold during a multi-stage molding process. These features may include one or more recesses. Side walls of the one or more recesses may be sloped, as defined by anchors with undercut regions that physically engage material of the strap to prevent movement of the strap within a mold cavity of the base as the strap cools and as the strap is exposed between its formation and formation of one or more elastomeric features thereon.
