Cable Fastening Assembly And Method For Using Same
The disclosed inventive concept provides a cable fastener assembly for securing a plurality of cables onto a stud. The cable fastener assembly includes a housing and a punch-nut for securing the housing onto the stud. The housing includes a base, a sidewall, and at least one attachment member extending from the sidewall. The base has an opening formed therein for receiving the stud and the sidewall includes at least one attachment member for securing a cable tie thereto. The punch-nut includes a base and an opening formed therein for receiving the stud. By providing interchangeable punch-nuts to be used with the housing, the disclosed inventive concept can accommodate studs having different shapes. Preferably, a pair of perpendicular passageways is formed within each attachment member. A cable tie may then be secured within each passageway for securing cables to the housing along different axes.
Cable tie
Disclosed is a cable tie including a tie band which is formed in a shape of a strap to bind cables, and is provided with a plurality of serrated grooves continuously formed on a one surface thereof in a longitudinal direction, and a tie holder which is connected to one end of the tie band and includes a tie band passage, through which the other end of the tie band passes, and a serrated locking protrusion formed on an inner surface of the tie band passage and interference-latched to the serrated grooves. The tie band is provided with a cut guide groove formed on one or both widthwise edges thereof, so that a free end of the tie band remaining when the tie band binds the cables together is cut off by a rotating force generated when the free end is twisted, without using a cutting tool.
Elastomer lined self-locking tie
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for an elastomer lined self-locking tie which includes an elongated strap, at least one cavity disposed in the elongated strap, an elastomer segment, and a locking head. The elongated strap includes a head end positioned opposite a tapered end. The tapered end includes a first surface positioned opposite a second surface. The cavity is positioned in either the first surface or the second surface. The elastomer segment is positioned within the cavity and extends beyond either the first surface or the second surface. The locking head extends from the head end of the elongated strap and includes an orifice shaped to receive the tapered end of the elongated strap and the elastomer segment.
Cable tie strap and buckle
A low-profile cable tie strap and buckle assembly that secures a bundle. The cable tie strap includes a head, a body with a plurality of teeth and a tip. The cable tie strap also has locking tabs that extend from each side of the cable tie strap. The buckle has a first end with a raised member defining a horizontal strap passageway and a second end with a vertical strap passageway. The cable tie strap is installed in the first end of the buckle and the locking tabs secure the cable tie strap to the buckle. The cable tie strap wraps around the bundle. The free end of the cable tie strap is installed in the second end of the buckle to secure the bundle.
Wire harness equipped with protector
A protector-equipped wire harness includes: an electrical wire; a protector that includes a pair of side walls that protrude from a bottom, a slide supporting portion that is formed so as to extend in a first direction X, and a receiver that is provided on a bottom side of the slide supporting portion, and in which the electrical wire can be disposed in a groove that is defined by the bottom and the pair of side walls; and an attachment member that includes a band that can be wound around the electrical wire, and a band lock portion that includes a slidable portion that is supported by the slide supporting portion so as to be slidable in the first direction, the band lock portion keeping the band in a state of being wound around the electrical wire.
SEALING DEVICE FOR SEALING A LEAK IN A PIPE
A sealing device for sealing a leak in a pipe includes an elongate pipe wrapping member which is configured to be wrapped around and overlay a leak in a pipe in a wrapped condition a cover member for covering the pipe wrapping member substantially in the wrapped condition and a retaining arrangement for retaining the cover member and with it, the pipe wrapping member in position relative the pipe in a pipe sealing condition.
Wide range edge mounting clamp
A mounting clamp assembly configured to support one or more elongate elements from a cantilevered support. The mounting clamp assembly includes a clamp body having a stationary jaw defining a first clamping surface. The clamp body defines a plurality of clamp body teeth and a ratcheting member slideably attached to the clamp body. The ratcheting member has a moveable jaw that defines a second clamping surface opposite the first clamping surface. The ratcheting member further defines a plurality of ratcheting member teeth that are configured to engage the clamp body teeth. The plurality of ratcheting member teeth have a saw tooth profile, thereby providing a clamping force that slideably moves the stationary jaw and the moveable jaw toward one another that is less than an unclamping force that moves the stationary jaw and the moveable jaw away from one another.
