A rotational high purity or ultra-high purity gas fitting or process cooling or critical process cooling water fitting comprising an inlet pipe, inlet flange, outlet flange, a compression mechanism (such as a nut and bolt mechanism), a rotational outlet pin comprising an interior flange, a sealing void, a sealing element, and an outlet pipe. The rotational high purity or ultra-high purity gas fitting or process cooling or critical process cooling water fitting provides a fitting wherein at least one end (inlet or outlet) is capable of a full 360 degree rotation clockwise or counterclockwise while maintaining a high purity and ultra-high purity gas seal or a or process cooling or critical process cooling water seal. Functional rotating ability in live and non-live systems (while gas or other medium is flowing).
Mechanical sealing device
A mechanical sealing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a sealing ring (13) attached to a protrusion (11a) protruding from a housing (11); a mating ring (23) attached to an end portion of a rotary shaft (21); a welded bellows provided around the protrusion (11a) and located between the housing (11) and the sealing ring (13). The welded bellows (15) presses the sealing ring (13) in an axial direction to cause the sealing ring (13) to be in contact with the mating ring (23), thereby ensuring high pressure force, and in particular, uniform pressure force along its entire circumference, so as to achieve high liquid tightness, while maintaining the sizes in axial and radial directions small. Furthermore, the welded bellows (15) works as a sealing member of blocking a liquid leaked out through the O-ring (14), thereby achieving assured liquid tightness. Accordingly, an outside-type mechanical sealing device can be provided which has a compact size, and is capable of ensuring high liquid tightness in response to a high rotation speed and a high liquid pressure.
ROTATING SNAP CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A connector providing a rotating snap connection for connecting tubes, hoses and/or other conduits where the rotatable portion of the connector snap fits with the remaining portion of the connector is described. A first connector can include a body defining a first internal passage, a connecting end defining a second internal passage, and a connecting mechanism rotatably connecting the connecting end to the body such that the second internal passage of the connecting end is fluidly connected with the first internal passage. A second connector can include a first body, a second body rotatably connected to the first body via a connecting structure, and a connecting structure.
Sealing Device
A sealing device (10) for providing a fluid-tight sealing of a joint comprising a first part (30) and a second part (32) with a relative movement in between. The sealing device (10) comprises: an outer sealing part (12) designed to contact the first part and the second part, an inner sealing part (14) designed to contact the first part and the second part, and a spacing structure (16) connecting the outer sealing part (12) and the inner sealing part (14). The outer sealing part (12) and the inner sealing part (14) define an intermediate space (18) between the outer sealing part (12) and the inner sealing part (14). The outer sealing part (12) and the inner sealing part (14) are being configured to seal off the intermediate space (18) from both an exterior and an interior of the joint, and the intermediate space (18) is configured to be in fluid contact with both the first part (30) and the second part (32).
SWIVEL COUPLING
A watering nozzle including a handle configured to be grasped by a user, an inlet connector including a flange rigidly coupled to the handle, and an inlet engagement feature, a swivel coupling including a garden hose thread and a swivel shoulder adjacent a swivel opening arranged concentrically about a central axis, the swivel coupling rotatable relative to the handle about the central axis, and an insert shank including a swivel seal in sealed contact with the swivel coupling, a first shank shoulder in contact with the swivel shoulder, and a shank engagement feature in rigid engagement with the inlet engagement feature.
Rotary Joint Shroud Having Set-Up Gauge and Seal Wear Indicator
A rotary joint for connecting a stationary body to a rotating body. The rotary joint has a rotatable wear plate connectable to the rotating body and a seal ring seated in the wear plate. A spring-biased piston engages the seal ring against the wear plate by compressed springs between an end flange and the piston. The end flange and the piston are at least partially disposed within a shroud, wherein the shroud has at least one aperture extending there through. Alignment rings are formed on the piston and viewable through the aperture in the shroud to confirm the proper distance between the end flange and the piston and the proper force applied to the piston. A seal wear indicator is connected to the piston and moves between an exposed position, wherein the seal ring is not worn, and a non-exposed position, wherein the seal ring is worn.
Joint for submarine connections
The present invention concerns a rotatable coupling (60) for connecting pipes, comprising a first hollow female element (61) suited to be connected, for example, to a first pipe portion (51), and a second tubular male element (6) with a first end portion at least partially housed inside the first female element (61) so as to define an inner space for the passage of a fluid, and with a second end portion suited to be connected to a second pipe portion (52). Said first and said second element (61, 6) can be rotated with respect to each other, said second tubular male element (6) comprising a first abutment surface (6S). Furthermore, the rotatable coupling (60) comprises a third hollow tubular element (12) housed inside the first female element and provided with a second abutment surface (1S) substantially opposite the first abutment surface (6S) so as to define a first interspace (I), and the third tubular hollow element (12) can be translated along a direction substantially orthogonal to the first and the second abutment surface (6S, 1S) between a closed configuration, in which the first and the second abutment surface (6S, 1S) are positioned at a minimal mutual distance, and an open configuration, in which the first and the second abutment surface (6S, 1S) are positioned at a distance that exceeds said minimal mutual distance.
Piston actuated rotary union
A rotary union includes a housing forming a bore and a piston bore having an open end and disposed at a radially offset distance with respect to the bore. The piston bore is fluidly isolated from the bore. A seal carrier is slidably disposed within the bore, and includes an actuation arm extending radially outwardly relative to the bore such that it overlaps the piston bore. A piston slidably disposed in the piston bore is extendible to releasably abut the actuation arm and urge the seal carrier to displace relative to the bore when the piston displaces relative to the piston bore.
