HIGH TOLERANCE QUICK CONNECT COUPLING

A fitting for use in a manifold or other tubular assembly includes a core and at least one tubular coupling sleeve slidably and sealingly fitted over a distal end of the core to accommodate predetermined tolerances in the relative positions of fluid ports connected with the tubular assembly. Features are provided to limit the range of motion to the predetermined tolerances and to prevent disassembly of the coupling sleeve from the core of the fitting.

PLUG-TYPE PIPE CONNECTION

A plug-type connection (1) having an inner pipe (2) and an outer pipe (3), which outer pipe (3) is plugged with one of end thereof onto one end of the inner pipe (2). The plug-type connection (1) has a spring element (4) arranged on the outside of the inner pipe (2) in the region of the end thereof, and the outer pipe (3) has a first widened portion (3a) at that end, in a region of which the outer pipe (3) is spaced apart (A) from the inner pipe (2) and engages over the spring element (4). The outer pipe (3) has an engagement structure (3b) in the region of the first widened portion (3a), with which engagement structure (3b) the spring element (4) is in engagement.

Anti-tamper permanent quick connect coupling device

A quick connector for permanently locked, non-disconnectable receipt of a tubular male insertion member having a lock feature, and assembly therewith is provided. The connector includes a housing having a tubular wall with inner and outer surfaces extending between opposite ends with a locking feature extending into the inner surface. The inner surface bounds a through bore having an annular shoulder. A retaining member has an annular retainer wall with inner and outer surfaces. The retaining member outer surface is sized for receipt in the through bore of the housing wall. At least one locking member extends radially outwardly from the retainer wall outer surface for lock engagement with the locking feature to prevent relative axial movement between the housing wall and the retaining member. The retainer wall has at least one locking finger extending radially inwardly for locked engagement with the lock feature of the tubular male insertion member.

The disclosure relates to a line connector that can be switched from a locking to an unlocking position solely by means of application of a linear force to a conduit (K) along an engagement axis (E). This solves the problem of how to operate such a line connector using only one hand. The connector has a mechanism configured so as to allow a cam body connected to the conduit (K) to occupy, at different rotational positions of the cam body, an unlocking position in which an attachment mechanism for the conduit (K) can be unlocked, and a locking position in which the attachment mechanism cannot be unlocked.

Quick connect coupling with verifier

A quick connect coupling having a female part with a throughbore for receiving a tube having an annular extending bead. A latch is supported in the female part in communication with the throughbore. A verifier is provided in stacked arrangement with the latch. Insertion of the tube results in extending sides of the latch expanding outwardly and likewise expanding the extending sides of the verifier. Upon passage of the bead past the latch, the latch seating in the engaged position, with the verifier held open by alignment with the annular bead. The verifier subsequently being displaced to a fully engaged position to indicate that the fluid coupling is fluidly and fully connected.

System, method and apparatus for pipe restrained joint seal and lock

A pipe restrained joint seal and lock can include a ring that is continuous and annular. The ring can have an axis, a proximal end and a distal end axially spaced apart from the proximal end. A spline can extend from the ring to engage a spline groove of a tubular component. The spline can include one or more of the following features: a seal mounted to the distal end of the ring; the seal mounted to the ring axially distal of the spline; the seal mounted to the ring radially outward of the spline relative to the axis; and the seal mounted to the ring, the seal having a seal groove extending in a distal direction, and a portion of the ring is located in the seal groove.

In a connector body (1), there is provided a gate member (29) having spring portions (33) that allow a pipe (P) to be inserted up to a regular depth while maintaining a contact state with the pipe (P). When a retainer (37) is pushed in with the pipe (P) being inserted to the connector body (1) up to the regular depth, locking legs (45) of the retainer (37) are locked to a bulge portion (6) of the pipe (P) and each locking leg (45) enters between the pipe (P) and the spring portion (33) and elastically displaces the spring portion (33) in a direction away from the pipe (P), thereby eliminating the contact state.
