CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connector body and a retainer. The connector body includes a first opening portion and a second opening portion. The retainer includes a first leg portion, a second leg portion, and an intermediate portion that is elastically deformable in an open manner so that a distance between the first leg portion and the second leg portion is widened. An end surface of the first opening portion includes a first guide surface that guides the first leg portion in a direction where the distance is widened when a force in an insertion direction is applied to the first leg portion. An end surface of the second opening portion includes a second guide surface that guides the second leg portion in a direction where the distance is widened when a force in an insertion direction is applied to the second leg portion.
Pipe connector
Fretting wear in a pipe connector is avoided in advance. In a connector body (1), there is provided a gate member (29) having spring portions (33) that allow a pipe (P) to be inserted up to a regular depth while maintaining a contact state with the pipe (P). When a retainer (37) is pushed in with the pipe (P) being inserted to the connector body (1) up to the regular depth, locking legs (45) of the retainer (37) are locked to a bulge portion (6) of the pipe (P) and each locking leg (45) enters between the pipe (P) and the spring portion (33) and elastically displaces the spring portion (33) in a direction away from the pipe (P), thereby eliminating the contact state.
Quick connector assembly for fluid lines with positive assurance feature
Provided is a quick connector assembly for joining a male member and a female connector member together to secure fluid communication in a fluid line system. The quick connector assembly includes a primary latch and a secondary latch configured to toggle between engaged and disengaged positions and to allow for a visual, audible, and/or tactile indication as to the status of a secure attachment between a male member and a female connector member.
Female connector and connector assembly
A female connector for receiving a male connector includes a housing, a support ring, a clip, and a clip blocking member. The male connector includes a groove. The housing includes an outer surface and housing openings. The support ring includes support ring openings. The clip includes an operation portion between a pair of clip legs. The pair of clip legs can pass through the housing and support ring openings. The clip blocking member is located outside the housing and has a pair of blocking faces which face the pair of clip legs. When the groove aligns with the housing and support ring openings, the pair of clip legs enter the groove, and the operation portion moves to a travel end position. In the travel position, the distal ends of the pair of clip legs are between the pair of blocking faces and the outer surface.
QUICK CONNECTOR STRUCTURE
A quickconnect structure having a fitting connector, a connector, and U-shaped positioning snap pin. The fitting connector has a connector part, a fitting connector body part coupled to the connector part, and a fitting part coupled to the fitting connector. The connector part, the fitting connector body part, and the fitting part define a fitting hole extending therethrough, and the fitting part defines positioning groove, a longitudinal snap hole, and a side snap opening in communication with the longitudinal snap hole. The connector has a connection end, a connector body part coupled to the connection end, and a positioning bump. The connection end and the connector body part define a duct hole extending therethrough, the connection end defines a positioning snap groove, and the fitting connector is configured to accept the connection end in the fitting hole. When the connection end is fully inserted into the fitting connector, the positioning bump is located in the positioning groove, and the longitudinal snap hole is aligned with the positioning snap groove. The U-shaped positioning snap pin has a pin base, a pin body part coupled to the pin base, and a snap protrusion coupled to the pin body part. The U-shaped positioning snap pin is configured to be partially inserted and fully inserted into the longitudinal snap hole; when partially interested, the snap protrusion engages the side snap opening and the connector is able to be inserted into the fitting connector; and when fully inserted and when the connector is inserted into the fitting connector, the pin body part engages the positioning snap groove and the snap protrusion engages a longitudinal snap hole exit.
QUICK CONNECTOR
A quick connect coupling includes a hollow female connector body, a male end form configured to be received in the female connector body, a retainer, and a verifier coupled. An entry end of the female connector body defines a pair of windows on opposite sides of the entry end. The retainer extends along the windows and into a bore of the female connector body. The verifier includes legs and feet that extend into the windows and into the bore. The windows define a ramped edge, and the retainer is forced against the ramped edge by an annular upset of the male end form. The retainer spreads outward and springs back after the upset clears the retainer. The feet of the verifier include a ramped surface and spread outward in response to a force applied by the upset. The verifier can be pushed down after the legs are spread apart.
Lightweight quick connector system
A lightweight quick connector system that is a more unitized, installation and dismantling structure and method for joining the ends of straight grooved pipe that uses o-ring fluid sealing. The connector system includes a grooved pipe receiving structure for support and stabilization of the o-ring sealing structure. The quick connector system also has the capability to operate as a size adapter for grooved pipe of different sizes and has the capability to act as a fitting adapter to enable interfitting of a grooved pipe to another size and type of pipe.
Coupling device for media-conducting lines
A coupling device for connecting media-conducting lines has a one-part or multi-part first coupling section and a one-part or multi-part second coupling section. At least one locking element is fastened with at least one connecting section to the first coupling section and is provided with one or more locking arc sections extending in a circumferential direction between the first and second coupling sections. The second coupling section has a locking section extending circumferentially at least partially about a circumference of the second coupling section. At least one of the one or more locking arc sections interacts with the locking section.
CONNECTION UNIT FOR CONNECTING FLUID LINES
A connection unit for connecting fluid lines, including a plug-in unit connectable to a first fluid line not belonging to the connection unit, defining a first fluid flow channel in its interior, and a receiving unit connectable to a second fluid line not belonging to the connection unit, defining a second fluid flow channel in its interior. The plug-in unit and the receiving unit are connectable to establish a fluid connection between the first and second fluid flow channels. The connection unit also includes a release element transferrable from a holding state to a release state upon insertion of the plug-in unit into the receiving unit up to a predetermined depth, and an indicator element formed separately from the release element and locked by the release element in the holding state. The indicator element is detachable from the connection unit when the release element is in the release state.
