Pipe coupling
10415734 · 2019-09-17 · ·

A female pipe coupling member includes a coupling body and a sleeve 138 disposed around a cylindrical peripheral wall portion of the coupling body. The sleeve has a locking element receiving hole extending therethrough from an inner peripheral surface to an outer peripheral surface. When the sleeve is in a locking element releasing position where the locking element receiving hole radially aligns with a locking element, the locking element is received in the locking element receiving hole to assume an unlocking position. The locking element receiving hole is configured to block the locking element from passing therethrough radially outward and thus holds the locking element in the unlocking position from outside.

A method for assembling a modular cooling system includes attaching a support manifold to a first rail of an equipment rack, the support manifold defining a coolant supply channel and a coolant return channel; and mounting a first cold plate to the support manifold including engaging a manifold supply connector with a plate supply connector in fluid communication, the manifold supply connector being connected in fluid communication with the coolant supply channel of the support manifold, the plate supply connector being connected in fluid communication with a cooling system disposed within the first cold plate.

Fluid connectors for modular cooling systems

Methods, apparatuses, and systems for fluid connections in modular cooling systems for cooling electronic components installed in equipment racks. A cold plate is positioned adjacent to a support manifold in a mated position, where the cold plate comprises a plate connector. The plate connector comprises a plate outer sleeve and defines a central passageway. The support manifold comprises a manifold connector, which comprises a manifold outer sleeve and defines a central passageway. An outer surface of the manifold outer sleeve is positioned adjacent to an outer surface of the plate outer sleeve. A cam is rotated about a pivot pin and engages with a plate retainer to secure the cold plate against the support manifold, and the central passageway of the plate connector is connected in fluid communication with the central passageway of the manifold connector.

Tapered thread configuration with improved durability

Underground drilling operation often requires connecting a drill tool (e.g., drill bit, backreamer, etc.) to a drill string. It is desirable to connect the drill tools to a drill string in a manner that facilitates quick and easy assembly and disassembly. Low torque coupling, commonly referred to as torque-less connection, can provide such functionality. The useful life and strength of such connections can be improved upon. The present disclosure provides a low torque coupling with improved strength and durability.

FLUID COUPLING ASSEMBLY

A fluid coupling assembly includes a sliding seal interface between rotating and non-rotating components, through which a fluid conduit extends. A flow of fluid is provided through the fluid conduit during operation. A hydrocyclone device has a body forming a cyclone chamber, the cyclone chamber having a feed opening, a base opening and an apex opening. A flow constrictor is disposed along the fluid conduit between an upstream portion and a downstream portion of the fluid conduit. The feed opening is fluid connected to the upstream portion of the fluid conduit and the apex opening is fluidly connected to the downstream portion of the fluid conduit. The base opening is fluidly connected to a passage having an outlet adjacent the sliding seal interface.

Female Coupling Element, to be Coupled with a Complementary Male Element and Coupling Comprising Such a Female Element

The invention relates to a female quick coupling element (200) comprising a hollow female body (204) defining a central axis (X200), locking members (208), each locking member being radially movable inside a corresponding radial opening (204.1) of the female body between a locked position and an unlocked position, at least one memory element (206), movable along a movement axis (D206) between a distal position, in which it opposes the movement of a locking member from the unlocked position to the locked position, and a proximal position, and a locking ring (218), which is axially movable between a forward position, in which it keeps the locking members in the locked position, and a withdrawn position. Each memory element (206) is received in a housing defined in the thickness of the body. Each memory element (206) is, in the distal position, closer to the central axis (X200) than the locking members (208) are in the unlocked position, and the movement axis (D206) of each memory element is inclined relative to the central axis (X200) of the female body.
