Articulating support arm with improved tilter and friction joint
The present application discloses an articulating support arm with improved friction joint designs that are facilitated by the use of a non-annular bushing. In particular, the bushing is designed to interact with another portion of the friction joint to prevent rotational movement of the bushing, thereby minimizing the risk of joint malfunction. A bushing that interacts with a larger percentage of the width of a friction cylinder as compared to prior art devices, thereby improving the performance of the joint, is also disclosed. The improved friction joint according to the present invention may comprise an arm joint and/or tilter joint.
DRYER STAND
A dryer stand having a base, a body having a first end connected to the base and a second end spaced upward from the base, and a receptacle located in the second end of the body, the receptacle being mounted to the second end of the body is provided. The receptacle can receive a dryer for discharging drying air. The mounting of the receptacle enables at least one of a tilting operation and a rotation operation in a clockwise-counterclockwise direction so that the discharge direction of the drying air can be shifted toward a front-rear direction and clockwise-counterclockwise direction with respect to the dryer stand, either simultaneously or separately, depending on the position and size of the object to be dried.
ANTENNA CLAMPING DEVICE
Disclosed is an antenna clamping device, which includes: an arm unit which is coupled to a support pole and is partly provided to be movable in a horizontal direction; a coupling unit that is detachably mounted on a part of a tip of the arm unit; a rotation unit whose tip portion is coupled to the coupling unit so as to be ratable at a predetermined angle in a left-right direction; and a tilting unit that is coupled. to a tip portion of the rotation unit so as to be tiltable in a top-down direction and mediates coupling of an antenna device, wherein an angular motion adjuster is provided on at least any one of the rotation unit and the tilting unit so as to adjust a rotating angle, thereby removing spatial limitations on a plurality of antenna devices with respect to the support pole and improving workability.
Video arm assembly
A video arm assembly includes a base attachable to a surface, a knuckle rotatably engaging the base, and an arm connected to the knuckle. A friction clutch is connected to the base. A one-way bearing engages the friction clutch and the knuckle, providing rotation of the knuckle with respect to the base in a first direction only. The friction clutch engages the one-way bearing such that the knuckle rotates with respect to the base in a second direction opposite the first direction, the one-way bearing rotating with the knuckle in the second direction, and the arm rotating with the knuckle in the first and second directions.
Adjustable display track system
The adjustable display track system comprises a track and a roller car. The adjustable display track system may be adapted to move a flat screen display that is coupled to the roller car along the track between a lowered position and a raised position. The adjustable display track system may be adapted to lower an elevation angle of the flat screen display as the roller car is raised such that the flat screen display continues to point towards a user. Motion of the roller car may be controlled remotely from a smart device.
EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mounting arm and a mirror head having a mirror reflective element. An electrically-operated actuator includes a first attachment element that attaches at an actuator-mounting bracket of the mounting arm and a second attachment element that attaches at the mirror head. The actuator includes first and second motors that are electrically operated to cause adjustment of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm about respective first and second pivot axes. A mounting post of the mounting arm passes through an opening of the mirror head, the opening providing clearance between the mirror head and the mounting arm to allow movement of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm during electrical operation of the actuator when the base mounting portion of the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly is mounted at the exterior portion of the side door of the equipped vehicle.
Trackless dark ride vehicle, system, and method
A motion assembly that produces pitch and roll motions includes lower and upper plates. A pivotable coupling having upper and lower shafts extending from its center is coupled between the upper and lower plates. At least two linear actuators are coupled between the plates. Extension and retraction of the actuators pivots the upper plate about the pivotable coupling relative to the lower plate. A vehicle includes two steerable propulsion wheels coupled to a chassis. A lower plate of a pitch and roll assembly, similar to that just described, couples to the chassis via a slew bearing. Seating is coupled to the upper plate. The seating rotates with respect to the chassis via controlled rotation of the slew bearing with reference to the chassis. The seating can be rotated to point in any direction with respect to the chassis regardless of the direction the steerable propulsion wheels move the chassis.
Lap top workstation with leveling adjustability and accessory attachment features
A lap top work station featuring an adjustable side by side tilting of a main support platform for eliminating a side by side out of level condition caused by a structural deformation and also featuring a pair of accessory mounting sockets, both features are accomplished by a pair of clevis, one clevis assembly attached at the end of a cross arm to provide the out of level condition, and the other fixed to the back of the main support platform and the other clevis assembly supporting the accessory mounting sockets.
PAN TILT DRIVE DEVICE AND CAMERA DEVICE
A pan tilt drive device includes a board, a drive worm that is rotatably supported by the board, a terminal worm wheel that is rotatably disposed relative to the board, a holder plate that is parallel to the board, a shaft that is rotatably supported while being parallel to the holder plate, an intermediate worm wheel that is fixed to one end of the shaft, and that meshes with the drive worm, an intermediate worm that is fixed to the other end of the shaft, and that meshes with the terminal worm wheel, a pivot mechanism, and a biasing member that biases the holder plate toward the drive worm and the terminal worm wheel.
PORTABLE MOBILE DEVICE HOLDER
A portable mobile device holder that includes a plurality of concentrically-connected frames. The intermediate protective frame, is selectively moveable by a user between a stowed position and a deployed position in which the intermediate protective frame is pivoted outwardly relative to the outer protective frame to orient the mobile device at an approximately 90 degree position relative to the outer protective frame and facilitate hands-free use of the mobile device by a user. The mobile device is mounted on the inner protective frame defining, which is selectively moveable by the user between a stowed position and a deployed position in which the inner protective frame is selectively rotated by the user between approximately 0 to 360 degrees about its longitudinal axis relative to the intermediate protective frame.
