METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GIMBAL, GIMBAL, CONTROL SYSTEM, AND MOVABLE DEVICE
20200256506 · 2020-08-13 ·

A method for controlling a gimbal includes obtaining a control signal from a remote control corresponding to the gimbal; obtaining first measurement data of a first Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU); and obtaining second measurement data of a second IMU. The first IMU is fixedly connected to a yaw axis arm of the gimbal, and the second IMU is fixedly connected to a pitch axis arm of the gimbal. The method also includes controlling a roll axis pivot mechanism of the gimbal to rotate for any degree in a 360-degree range according to the control signal, the first measurement data, and the second measurement data.

The present disclosure provides a control device for controlling an imaging device. The control device includes an operation unit configured to be operated by an external force; a detection unit configured to detect an operation state of the operation unit; a processor configured to execute a program to: perform a predetermined operation based on the operation state of the operation unit; and invalidate an execution of the predetermined operation performed by the processor based on the operation state of the operation unit when the imaging device is connected to an object satisfying a condition.

HYBRID MOUNT FOR OPTICAL INSTRUMENT
20240085689 · 2024-03-14 ·

A hybrid mount for an optical instrument and an associated method employs a worm gear for angular positioning about a declination axis and a harmonic gear for angular positioning about a right-ascension axis. An optical encoder measures right-ascension angles and provides a basis for correcting periodic errors introduced by the harmonic gear.

CONTROL UNIT

Control unit for controlling a parameter in an multimedia system said control unit comprising a bracket where the multimedia system can be manipulated relative to the bracket from a neutral position to an unbalanced position, and where the bracket urges the multimedia system back to the neutral position, and a receiver in the multimedia system registering the manipulation of the multimedia system, whereby the control unit alters the parameter in response to the registration by the receiver.

ARTICULATING SUPPORT ARM WITH IMPROVED TILTER AND FRICTION JOINT

The present application discloses an articulating support arm with one or more improved friction joint designs that use a non-annular bushing. In particular, the bushing is designed to interact with another portion of the friction joint to prevent rotational movement of the bushing, thereby minimizing the risk of joint malfunction. A bushing that interacts with a larger percentage of the width of a friction cylinder as compared to prior art devices, thereby improving the performance of the joint, is also disclosed. The improved friction joint according to the present invention may comprise an arm joint and/or tilter joint.

Adjustable stand for a computer peripheral device

An adjustable stand for an electronic device that is operable for stable movement in two directions with the use of a single hand of a user. An ergonomic design leverages a natural and intuitive movement of a user's hand to maintain an orientation of the electronic device throughout at least 180 degrees of movement.

An actuator includes: a member for holding an object thereon; a fixed member; a drive: and a controller. The fixed unit holds the member to allow the member to rotate in at least two directions including a rolling direction and a panning direction or a tilting direction. The drive drives the member in rotation in the at least two directions with respect to the fixed member. The controller drives the member in vibration at a frequency of an audible sound in at least one direction out of the at least two directions. The member includes: a holder for holding the object thereon; and a body for supporting the holder. The holder includes a columnar portion protruding in an axial direction that defines a center of the rolling direction and serving as a rotor to rotate around the axial direction.
