JOINT FIXATION MECHANISM FOR LEG SUPPORT MEMBER
A joint portion for angle adjustment arranged between a leg base portion and a leg support member of an imaging equipment-grade tripod includes a joint fixation member with a joint, a pole member having an upper end connected by the joint of the joint fixation member a lower end connected to the leg base portion, a sleeve provided below the joint fixation member and fitting to the joint fixation member, and a coil spring wound around a central axis of the pole member and pressing the sleeve upward. With the joint portion being fixed by fitting between the joint fixation member and the sleeve, the sleeve is pressed downward to release the fitting between the joint fixation member and the sleeve, so that the joint portion is released.
FOOT ASSEMBLY WITH REVERSIBLE SPIKE
A foot assembly for a leg of an equipment support, components thereof, and associated methods. The foot assembly includes a spike selectively configurable in a stowed orientation and in a deployed orientation.
FOOT ASSEMBLY WITH REVERSIBLE SPIKE

A TRIPOD FOR VIDEO-PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
A tripod for video-photographic equipment, includes: at least one leg having a first, a second and a third section that engage so as to axially slide in a telescopic manner one after the other; a first clamping device that is provided between the first and the second section and a second clamping device that is provided between the second and the third section, an actuating element that is connected to the first clamping device, a transmission element that connects the first and the second clamping device such that the movement of the first clamping device causes the second clamping device to move in a similar manner so that said first and second clamping devices simultaneously clamp and release, and an adjustment member that is provided at the first clamping device in order to adjust the second clamping device via the transmission element.

TRIPODS, COUPLING JOINTS AND OTHER SUPPORT COMPONENTRY FOR CAMERAS LIGHTING AND OTHER EQUIPMENT
Tripods and other support componentry for cameras, lighting and other equipment including a convertible tripod selfie-stick with dog-legged tripod legs collapsible together to form a singular selfie-stick shaft, foldable couplers on the tripod legs for optional attachment of supplemental feet thereto, a yoke body with a threaded collar that both tightens a ball and socket joint of each tripod leg and anchors a secondary tethering of each leg, a string-of-pearls latching mechanism for providing such secondary tethering of other components, a magnetic basal of lobe-shaped footprint and composite construction, a squeeze lever lock for telescopic tubes of a tripod leg or the like, a slidable ring coupler displaceable along a tripod leg or other shaft and lockable thereto via a tightenable collet, a rock-and-dock accessory mount for a tripod leg or the like, and a smartphone/tablet holder and cooperating case with a ball and socket connection.
REMOVABLE TRIPOD FOOT WITH SECUREMENT
Installation of a removable tripod foot is facilitated by a cross-axis aperture in the foot and loosening of the threaded connection of the foot and the tripod's leg is resisted by a resilient element engaging interfacing surfaces of the foot and the leg.
Elevated outlet assembly
An elevated outlet assembly includes a tripod that has a base and a plurality of legs each extending downwardly from the base. Each of the legs engages a support surface thereby elevating the base upwardly from the support surface. A disk is disposed on the base and a plurality of female electrical outlets is each integrated into the disk to receive a power plug from an electronic device. Each of the female electrical outlets is elevated when the tripod is positioned on the support surface to inhibit the power plug from the electronic device from coming into contact with moisture on the support surface. A power cord is coupled to and extends away from the disk and the power cord can be plugged into a power source to supply electrical power to the respective electronic device.
