A top surface of a tank floor body is in sealing contact with the lower circumferential edge and conforms to the contoured shape. The tank floor body has a saddle shape. An upper cap is joined to an upper circumferential edge of the upper tank. The upper cylindrical tank shell, the tank floor body, and the upper cap form an inner storage volume. The storage tank may also include a lower skirt having a cylindrical shape and an upper circumferential edge having the contoured shape. A bottom surface of the tank body floor is joined to the upper circumferential edge and the lower tank skirt, and the upper tank share a common central axis.

DYNAMIC CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

A dynamic control valve assembly for use in filling a liquid carbon dioxide storage and gas delivery system is provided, the assembly comprising: a valve body; an end nut with an inlet port for receiving liquid carbon dioxide; a chamber; an inlet cavity; a liquid port; a gas port; and a dynamic compound valve stem assembly for blocking the gas port while liquid carbon dioxide is delivered through the inlet port and allowing the liquid carbon dioxide to flow through the liquid port for storage in a liquid cylinder, and open the gas port and block the inlet port in order to allow carbon dioxide gasses from boiling liquid carbon dioxide within the liquid cylinder to pass through the gas port for storage in a gas cylinder until system pressure and temperature equilibrium is reached. The dynamic compound valve stem assembly comprises: a stem body having an inlet port poppet and a gas port poppet; an inlet cavity collar; and in some embodiments a collar biasing spring. The compound valve assembly is adapted to block the inlet port upon completion of the delivery of liquid carbon to the system when the system has an initial low pressure. The carbon dioxide gas may then be drawn from the gas cylinder for use in use in carbonated beverages and other applications such as agricultural and medical uses.

TANK CONTAINER FOR STORING GASES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID TANK CONTAINER

A tank container for storing gases, in particular for storing hydrogen in a motor vehicle. The tank container includes a main body which is preferably tubular, and comprises reinforcement elements which are arranged on a wall of the main body and are produced using an additive manufacturing process.

HYDROGEN TANK PROVIDED WITH A GASEOUS HYDROGEN CAPTURE SYSTEM

A hydrogen tank, preferably a tank for storing liquid hydrogen at low pressure in cryogenic condition, includes at least one gaseous hydrogen capture system. The system is provided with absorbent fillers configured to capture the gaseous hydrogen, the absorbent fillers being linked to at least a part of a wall of the tank, and/or to a skin arranged on an outer face of the tank, and/or to an outer jacket intended to implement an auxiliary function. The system has a reduced weight and is able to retain and store gaseous hydrogen which could escape from the tank so as to prevent it from being given off into the environment of the tank. The captured gaseous hydrogen is able to be restored later by the system.

Flange for Pressure Vessel with Undercut Fillet

A flange for a pressure vessel includes a rim, a sealing seat, and an undercut fillet. The rim has an annular surface for abutting an annular end of a cylindrical wall of the pressure vessel. The sealing seat has a cylindrical surface for abutting an inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the pressure vessel nearby the annular end. The undercut fillet is disposed between the rim and the sealing seat. A concave surface of the undercut fillet extends the annular surface of the rim radially inward and then curves back outward to intersect the cylindrical surface of the sealing seat. The undercut fillet of the flange helps distribute stress produced from a pressure differential between the inside and outside of the pressure vessel.

A gas source for pressuring sparkling and other beverage containers, e.g., to re-pressurize the container to keep a carbonation level of beverage during storage. A gas cylinder can include a cap with a flange and catch below the flange. The catch can be engaged by a cylinder support to move the cylinder into contact with a piercing element to pierce the gas outlet of the cylinder and form a seal between the cylinder and gas receiver. A pressure indicator can have a single pressure sensor to indicate a capacity of a gas cylinder to deliver pressurized gas and a pressure in a beverage container.
