Each inlet assembly is configured to provide fluid communication between a supply of a high-pressure fluid and an interior of the storage tank. Each inlet assembly may include a boss and a tank valve, with each tank valve being in fluid communication with the compressed fluid receptacle. During filling of the storage tank, the high-pressure fluid travels through a compressed fluid receptacle and enters the interior of the storage tank simultaneously through each of the first and second inlet assemblies.

Method for manufacturing high-pressure tank and mandrel for use in method for manufacturing high-pressure tank
A method for manufacturing a high-pressure tank including a reinforcing layer in which rims of both ends of a tubular member and rims of a pair of dome members are joined to overlap each other in a radial direction includes producing the dome members and producing the tubular member. The producing of the dome members includes producing a wound body on a mandrel, curing a resin contained in the wound body, shaving the wound body after the resin is cured to reduce, toward a split line, thicknesses of the rims of the dome members to be obtained by splitting the wound body, splitting the shaved wound body into the dome members by cutting the wound body along the split line, and demolding the dome members from the mandrel.
PRESSURE VESSEL LINER VENTING VIA NANOTEXTURED SURFACE
A pressure vessel has a first end with a first boss, the first boss having a first outer surface. The vessel includes a liner having a second outer surface, a shell disposed over the second outer surface, and a first vent. The first vent is formed onto at least a portion of the first outer surface and at least a portion of the second outer surface. The first vent includes a texture that provides a higher rate of gas flow through the first vent than through a portion of an interface of the liner and shell lacking the texture. In another aspect, a pressure vessel has a first end and a second end, a plurality of first longitudinal vents and a plurality of second longitudinal vents. At least one of first longitudinal vents is circumferentially offset around the pressure vessel from at least one of the second longitudinal vents.
High pressure tank and method of manufacturing same
A high pressure tank includes: a supplying/discharging hole; and a cap having formed therein a cap-side path which is a part of a flow path. A repelling coating interposes between a liner-side end surface facing a resin-made liner, of a flange section configuring the cap, or a flange section-facing outer surface facing the flange section, of the liner. The repelling coating is formed of a material that repels a matrix resin of a fiber-reinforced resin configuring a reinforced layer.
Hydrogen gas storage tank
A hydrogen gas storage tank includes a body including a steel bulk region and a passivating metal oxide layer adjacent to the steel bulk region, the oxide layer comprising a number of metal oxide molecules, all having a morphology, wherein at least about 51 wt. % of the number of metal oxide molecules are Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 molecules having morphologies of (012), (001), and/or (110) surface facets such that the oxide layer is configured to lower hydrogen adsorption into the steel bulk region by at least 25% compared to a steel bulk region free from the passivating metal oxide layer.
CONTAINER FOR PRESSURIZED GAS
Disclosed are articles useful as the body of a container for containing gas under pressure, and containers which comprise the articles to which are affixed valves to control the flow of gas out of the container, wherein the articles comprise a hollow container body, having an external surface and having an opening through which gas can enter or leave the interior of the hollow container body; optionally but preferably a layer of fiber-reinforced polymer around the exterior of the container body, and an external layer of elastomer around and sealed to the external surface of the layer of fiber-reinforced polymer if present or else to the cylinder body.
