Sealed and thermally insulating tank
A sealed and thermally insulating tank for transporting and/or storing liquefied natural gas includes a load-bearing structure and a storage structure surrounded by the load-bearing structure. The storage structure includes a first portion and a second portion that are sealed with respect to one another, the first portion and the second portion extending in one and the same plane which is parallel to the load-bearing structure. The tank includes a closure device arranged in the thickness of the storage structure. The closure device includes a first closure member and a second closure member that cooperate with one another to separate the first portion from second portion. One of the closure members includes a first part and a second part that extend in intersecting planes. One of the parts is connected to one of the portions by a fastening device that is arranged in the thickness of the storage structure.
Wall for a leaktight and thermally insulating vessel
A wall for a leaktight and thermally insulating vessel for storing a liquefied gas has, in succession in a thickness direction, a secondary thermally insulating barrier, a secondary leaktight membrane, a primary thermally insulating barrier, and a primary leaktight membrane intended to be in contact with the liquefied gas contained in the vessel. The primary thermally insulating barrier has at least one first row of supporting elements that are attached to the secondary thermally insulating barrier and that rise up in the thickness direction. The supporting elements are each attached to a particular inner plate of the flat regions of the primary leaktight membrane being welded, and bearing against one of the inner plates.
Sealed and thermally insulating tank
The invention relates to a sealed and thermally insulating tank for storing fluid, comprising, from the outside to the inside of the tank, a secondary thermally insulating barrier and a secondary sealing membrane, the secondary sealing membrane being secured to the secondary thermally insulating barrier, a primary thermally insulating barrier resting against the secondary sealing membrane and a primary sealing membrane resting against the primary thermally insulating barrier, the tank comprising a duct that extends along a longitudinal direction, the duct being delimited on one hand by the secondary thermally insulating barrier and on the other hand by the secondary sealing membrane, a bottom of the duct being at least in part formed by the secondary thermally insulating barrier, the tank further comprising a pressure-drop stopper that is arranged in the duct and extends between the bottom of the duct and the sealing membrane.
