A method of dispensing compressed natural gas (CNG) includes assigning a first priority to the filling of a first destination tank and assigning a second priority to the filling of a second destination tank. The second priority is lower than the first priority. The method also includes filling the first destination tank from a first CNG source while filling the second destination tank from a second CNG source. The second CNG source provides CNG at a lower pressure relative to the pressure at which the first CNG source provides CNG.

Motor vehicle comprising a hard shell for protecting a fuel-carrying connecting element

A motor vehicle includes at least one pressure vessel for storing fuel, and at least one holder for holding the pressure vessel. When installed, the holder encloses one end of the pressure vessel. The holder has a hard shell and an inner layer, wherein at least regions of the inner layer, when installed, are arranged between the hard shell and the connecting element. The hard shell has a higher rigidity than the inner layer.

A gas pressure tank system is disclosed, and includes at least one gas pressure tank comprising a thermal pressure relief device. The thermal pressure relief device may include a valve unit fluidically connected to the at least one gas pressure tank and including at least one fluid path, by way of which a gas stored in the at least one gas pressure tank can be discharged into an environment. The valve unit may include a locking element which can be moved between an open position, in which the gas can flow through the fluid path, and a closed position, in which no gas can flow through the fluid path. The thermal pressure relief device may include a first trigger means configured to detect heat impact at least at one location of the gas pressure tank system spatially separated from the installation location of the thermal pressure relief device.

SYSTEM AND/OR METHOD FOR HYDROGEN REFUELING

A system for hydrogen dispensation can include: a hydrogen collector; a cryo-compressed buffer storage system; and a hydrogen dispenser. The system functions to facilitate hydrogen fueling/dispensation (e.g., rapid dispensation) while additionally utilizing hydrogen storage in a cryo-compressed hydrogen state. The system and/or method may be implemented in any general use case that requires hydrogen storage and/or hydrogen refueling.

On tank manifold valve assembly
