A MEGC TRAILER
The invention relates to a MEGC trailer for transportation and temporary storage of a pressurized gaseous fluid, the MEGC trailer comprising: two gas banks each comprising one or more gas sections and a fluid conduit system. The fluid conduit system comprises a first and a second bank valve between which an additional gas section is connected to the fluid conduit system. Wherein the first and second bank valves are controllable so that the volume of at least one of the two gas banks can be changed with the volume of the additional gas section.
Cross-activated pressure relief apparatus
A pressure relief apparatus for venting a tank comprising an inlet port, an outlet port, a closure member retained, relative to the inlet and outlet ports, for preventing, or substantially preventing, fluid communication between the inlet port and the outlet port, a trigger mechanism including a temperature response portion, and a compartment for receiving pressurized fluid from the outlet port and communicating the received pressurized fluid to the trigger mechanism. The trigger mechanism and the closure member are cooperatively configured to release the closure member and establish fluid communication between the inlet port and the outlet port, thereby venting the tank, upon detection of a temperature at or above a predetermined temperature threshold or upon pressurization of the compartment at or above a predetermined pressure threshold.
SMART HYDROGEN STORAGE TANKS FOR FUEL CELL APPLICATIONS
A hydrogen storage tank of a vehicle includes a housing defining an inlet/outlet opening, a control assembly extending into the housing through the opening and comprising a plurality of sensors, and a controller configured to receive signals from the plurality of sensors. The controller of the hydrogen storage tank is configured to, in response to a request for a handshake signal, initiate sending the handshake signal, and in response to the vehicle being started, initiate periodically sending data indicating parameter values received from the plurality of sensors.
Device and method for filling pressurized gas tanks
Device and method for filling pressurized gas tanks, comprising a fluid transfer circuit comprising an upstream end provided with a plurality of pressurized fluid sources and a downstream end comprising at least two distribution terminals each intended to be connected to separate tanks to be filled, each source comprising a first fluid outlet connected to a first respective outlet valve, each first outlet valve being connected to each of the at least two distribution terminals via parallel transfer ducts, each of the transfer ducts comprising at least one respective isolation valve, each of the distribution terminals being fluidly connected to each first outlet valve of a source via a first direct fluid path passing through a single transfer duct and via at least one second indirect alternative fluid path successively passing through a plurality of transfer ducts.
Hydrogen station and operating method for hydrogen station
When a pressure accumulator tank A3a is used as a low-pressure bank, a controller sends an open control signal to an electromagnetic open/close valve A10a to open the electromagnetic open/close valve A10a so that hydrogen in the pressure accumulator tank A3a can be supplied to a tank to be filled (not shown) of an FCV. In parallel with this, the controller sends an open control signal to a first electromagnetic open/close valve 6a and a second electromagnetic open/close valve 6b to open the first and second electromagnetic open/close valves 6a and 6b so that hydrogen can be supplied also from a compressor 2 to the tank to be filled of the FCV.
Transport element support assembly
A transport element support assembly comprises a front plate, a back plate, and a grommet. The front plate has a first opening and a first set of holes. The back plate has a second opening and a second set of holes. A chamber is formed by the first opening and the second opening and is configured to hold a transport element. The grommet is positioned within the chamber. The transport element support assembly formed by the front plate, the back plate, and the grommet is configured to provide electrical isolation between the transport element and an aircraft structure.
High pressure container unit
A high pressure container unit includes a container body configured to store high pressure gas, a case storing the container body inside the case, a pipe connected with the container body and extending to an outside of the case, a closing member that is configured to close the pipe and allow the high pressure gas stored in the container body to be discharged from the pipe when a given condition is satisfied, and a ventilation mechanism that discharges air inside the case to the outside of the case with use of pressure of the discharged high pressure gas when the given condition is satisfied.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZED GAS DELIVERY WITH AUTOMATED REDUNDANT PRESSURE REGULATION SAFETY FEATURE
This invention relates to a method and system for improved gas delivery for regulating gas at a substantially constant delivery pressure on a consistent basis. The system includes an automated redundant pressure regulation safety feature that is specifically configured along a flow network to significantly reduce the occurrence of pressure surges due to failure of the gas to be regulated to the delivery pressure. By reducing the occurrence of pressure surges and utilizing higher pressure package gas sources, the frequency of changeouts can be lowered.
CYLINDER ASSEMBLY FOR A HYDROGEN FUEL CELLS AUTOTRACTION SYSTEM
A cylinder assembly for a hydrogen-powered fuel cell motor vehicle system which has a plurality of cylinders and a first thermal safety device is provided. The first thermal safety device has a trigger mechanism and a plurality of trigger wires made of a shape memory material. Each trigger wire of the plurality of trigger wires extends along a straight trigger axis and is connected to the trigger mechanism and to a fixed backing part. The trigger axes are intersecting with each other.
Repowering system for vehicles and vessels
A system for retaining a plurality of compressed gas cannisters for fueling a vehicle is provided, the system comprising: a base which includes: a plate including a distal end and a proximal end; a base engagement member at the distal end of the plate; and a first mating member proximate the proximal end; a cassette which includes: a top; a first side; a second side; a front; a back; a bottom to define an interior, the interior for housing the plurality of compressed gas cannisters; at least one fork pocket mounted on one of the top, the bottom or the back, the fork pocket extending from a distal end a distance; a plurality of gas cannister apertures extending between the interior and an ambient environment, wherein the bottom includes a bottom engagement member which extends outward beyond the first side at the distal end; a locking mechanism proximate the distal end; and a second mating member proximate a proximal end, wherein the first mating member and the second mating member are in pivotal engagement in use.
