METHOD TO PRODUCE A SHEET OF MATERIAL CONTAINING ALKALOIDS
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a sheet of a material containing alkaloids, said method comprising: grinding a material containing alkaloids to a powder; combining the powder with a binder, an aerosol former and water, so as to form a slurry, wherein the slurry comprises: the powder of the material containing alkaloids in an amount comprised between about 40 percent and about 70 percent of the total weight of the slurry; the water in an amount comprised between about 30 percent and about 55 percent of the total weight of the slurry; the binder in an amount comprised between about 0 percent and about 1 percent of the total weight of the slurry; the aerosol former in an amount comprised between 1 percent and about 5 percent of the total weight of the slurry; applying the slurry to a substrate sheet including fibres so as to form a sheet of a material containing alkaloids.
METHOD OF MAKING AN AMORPHOUS SOLID USING A STENCIL
A method of making an amorphous solid is provided. The method comprises: (a) forming a slurry comprising: 0.5-60 wt % of a gelling agent; and 5-80 wt % of an aerosol forming material; 0-60 wt % of an active constituent and/or flavorant; wherein these weights are calculated on a dry weight basis; (b) shaping the slurry using a stencil; (c) setting the slurry to form a gel; and (d) drying the gel to form an amorphous solid. Amorphous solids provided by the method, articles comprising the amorphous solids, and non-combustible aerosol provision systems comprising the articles are also provided.

An improved aeration of foam as well as a method of forming the foam for an aerosol-generating article includes (a) mixing an aerosol-forming agent, a foam-forming agent and optionally a solvent and/or at least one non-tobacco flavoring agent, preferably under heating; (b) adding to the mixture a tobacco-containing agent and/or an inhalable agent; (c) adding a foam-stabilizing agent; (d) cooling of the mixture; wherein the mixture is aerated after the adding of the foam-stabilizing agent and/or after cooling of the mixture, and wherein sodium bicarbonate is added to the mixture before cooling of the mixture, wherein the sodium bicarbonate content is less than 1 wt. % based on the total weight of the foam.
Crumbed Tobacco Substrate
An aerosol releasing substrate for use in a heat-not-burn device is air permeable and includes tobacco particles and/or an inhalable agent, which contains at least one of a stimulant and/or a flavor, a gelling agent for gelling the aerosol releasing substrate, a degradation preventing and/or thickening stabilizer, and 30-70% humectant. The aerosol releasing substrate further has a soft granular texture. A method of producing a soft granular aerosol releasing substrate for use in a heat-not-burn device, which is air permeable, includes the steps: a) forming a mixture by mixing tobacco particles and/or an inhalable agent, which contains at least one of a stimulant and/or a flavor, a gelling agent for gelling the aerosol releasing substrate, a degradation preventing and/or thickening stabilizer, and 30-70% humectant, and b) forming a soft granular structure from the mixture.
