The invention relates to a tank comprising a container with an opening and a cover, a flexible casing lying against the interior and exterior of the container. This allows increased resistance to the penetration of sharp objects, liquid and gaseous gases can be used interchangeably and various gas types with a fossil-type and biological-type consistency can be mixed and also heated and cooled in the tank. The invention relates to tanks (1) and staged tanks of the preceding claims, characterized in that in addition to LNG, said tanks can store biological methane gas.

The invention primarily concerns a facility for storing and cooling a liquefied gas, for example a liquefied natural gas, the facility comprising at least one tank configured to contain the liquefied gas, a closed cooling circuit configured to be supplied with liquefied gas in the liquid state coming from the tank, at least one injection member configured for reinjecting cooled liquefied gas into the tank, the facility being characterized in that it comprises at least one connection line configured to recover a cooled gas from at least one remote container that is separate and independent from the facility.
CRYOGENIC FLUID PRESSURIZING SYSTEM
Aspects of the present invention provide a cryogenic fluid delivery system configured to provide a predetermined amount of liquid cryogenic fluid from a reservoir to an apparatus (e.g., a vapor ring of a cryogenic chiller system). A controlled high pressure gas burst is applied to the reservoir to push a predetermined amount of cryogenic fluid from the reservoir to the apparatus.
Hydrogen fueling systems and methods
A hydrogen fueling system and method comprises a container, a first tank, second tank, and third tank disposed within the container, and a nozzle coupled to the second tank and the third tank. One or more computer-readable storage media storing instructions executable by one or more processors may control flow of liquid hydrogen and hydrogen gas in the system, adjust temperature of the tanks, control pressure in the tanks, and transfer hydrogen gas from the second tank, the third tank, or a combination thereof to one or more target vessels. The system may also comprise flow control assemblies and flow control valves to manage the transfer of liquid hydrogen and hydrogen gas in the system.
DEVICE FOR STORING AND SUPPLYING CRYOGENIC FLUID, VEHICLE AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
Disclosed is a device for storing and supplying cryogenic fluid, in particular an on-board device for storing and supplying liquefied hydrogen, which device comprises a cryogenic storage tank for storing liquefied fluid, a bleed-off circuit, and a system for pressurizing the tank comprising a pressurizing duct having two ends respectively connected to the upper and lower portions of the tank, a vaporizing heat exchanger and a set of one or more valves configured so as to allow liquid to be bled from the tank, to be heated in the heat exchanger and to be fed back into the tank; the system for pressurizing the tank being configured so as to bleed off a predetermined volume of fluid from the tank, to store and to isolate this volume in the vaporizing heat exchanger until the volume of fluid reaches predetermined temperature and/or pressure conditions prior to reinjecting the volume of fluid into the tank; the pressurizing duct comprising a member for limiting the flow rate and/or the pressure of the volume of reinjected fluid.
Natural gas hydrate tank container loading system enabling self-powered power generation and boil-off gas treatment
The present disclosure relates to a natural gas hydrate tank container loading system for transporting natural gas hydrate, and the present disclosure provides a natural gas hydrate tank container loading system, enabling self-powered power generation and boil-off (BOG) gas treatment, includes: a refrigerator for inhibiting the generation of boil-off gas which naturally generates in a natural gas hydrate tank container during transportation; and a solar cell, a battery, and a generator, which operates by means of the boil-off gas, for supplying electric power to the refrigerator, thereby ensuring a generation capacity sufficient to operate the refrigerator by means of the solar cell, the generator, and the battery, and thus always maintaining a stable phase equilibrium (self-preservation) in the natural gas hydrate tank container even during long-distance transportation and solving problems of fire, environmental pollution, or the like which occur when the boil-off gas (BOG) is discharged to the outside.
COMBINED HIGH PRESSURE RECEPTACLES
A system for storing air at high pressure underground or underwater includes a plurality of arrays of air tanks, each tank configured to store compressed air at a pressure of at least 40 bar. A piping system connects between an outlet of each air tank, the piping system further including at least one central port for delivering compressed air to and from a respective array. A storage receptacle surrounds the arrays and piping system, protecting the arrays and piping system from an external environment, and thermally insulating the arrays and piping system. A liquid bath is arranged within the storage receptacle. A heat exchanger is configured to maintain a temperature of the liquid bath substantially constant. The storage receptacle may be comprised of plastic pieces welded together in a modular fashion. Each piece may be a cylindrical tube configured to receive therein one or more of the arrays.
Hybrid vehicle with a liquefied light hydrocarbon or hydrogen fuel system and methods thereto
A hybrid vehicle comprising a liquefied light hydrocarbon or hydrogen (LLH) fuel system is disclosed. The fuel system comprises an insulated fuel tank having a buffer space containing vaporized fuel, an orifice plate and a fuel coil conveying a first fuel vapor to a buffer tank through a first solenoid valve; a fuel line conveying a second fuel vapor through a second solenoid valve to the buffer tank and a pressure regulator, wherein an outlet to the buffer tank connects to the pressure regulator and wherein an outlet of the pressure regulator is adapted to connect to a fuel inlet to an energy conversion device selected from the group of fuel cells, Stirling engines and internal combustion engines. Methods of using the hybrid vehicle are also disclosed.
Liquified light hydrocarbon fuel system for a hybrid electric vehicle
A liquefied light hydrocarbon (LLH) fuel system for a hybrid electric vehicle is disclosed. The fuel system uses a stable supply of vaporized (LLH) fuel to meet the highly variable power demand from the vehicle's power train by 1) adjusting the evaporation rate inside an insulated fuel tank through a heat delivery system, 2) managing the amount of compressed fuel vapor stored inside a buffer tank and 3) using an electric energy storage means to provide for rapid fluctuations in demand. In an embodiment the apparatus comprises an insulated fuel tank, a buffer tank, a heat delivery system, an energy conversion means to convert the vaporized fuel into electricity and an electric energy storage means that can provide for rapid variations of power demand from the vehicle. Methods of using the fuel system under various operational scenarios are also disclosed.
A GAS TANK ARRANGEMENT
A gas tank arrangement for an internal combustion engine is provided, the gas tank arrangement including a gas tank configured to contain a combustible gas, and a first additional gas tank positioned in downstream fluid communication with the gas tank, wherein the gas tank arrangement further includes a second additional gas tank positioned in downstream fluid communication with the gas tank and in upstream fluid communication with the first additional gas tank. A vehicle including such a gas tank arrangement is also provided.
