Water heater
A water heater includes a burner of a premixed type, a heat exchanger, and a fan suctioning combustion gas and exhausting combustion gas to the outside. The burner includes a burner case partitioned into a combustion chamber and a gas introduction chamber by a partition plate and a plurality of combustion tubes arranged in the combustion chamber. An air supply opening for supplying air into the gas introduction chamber is provided in the burner case. The partition plate has a plurality of opening portions communicating with the inside of the combustion tubes and a plurality of through holes communicating with the outside of the combustion tubes within the combustion chamber. The air supply opening is constructed to have an opening area smaller than the total sum of the total of opening areas of the plurality of opening portions and the total of opening areas of the plurality of through holes.
COMBUSTOR
A combustor is provided, including a pipe and a burner tray. The pipe is transverse U-shaped, including a first pipe section and a second pipe section. The first pipe section has an inlet, and the second pipe section has an outlet extending along an axial direction thereof. The second pipe section has at least one reduced section, wherein a smallest sectional area in the reduced section is smaller than sectional areas on both sides of the reduced section. The burner tray is connected to the second pipe section, provided over the outlet, and has a plurality of flame holes which communicate with the outlet. Whereby, with the reduced section, the flow including gas could be evenly delivered to the burner tray. As a result, after the gas exhausted through the flame holes is ignited, the combustion range would be evener, which enhances the combustion efficiency.
Burner, combustion apparatus, water heating apparatus and combustion method
A burner includes a first burner port that generates a first flame, a gap that surrounds the first burner port, and a plurality of second burner ports that are disposed on either side of the gap, the second burner ports generating second flames to hold the first flame. The first burner port combusts a first mixture (lean mixture) to generate the first flame (lean flame). The first mixture includes air more than fuel gas. A gap that surrounds the first burner port is formed. A plurality of the second burner ports are arranged on either side of the gap. The second burner ports combust a second mixture (rich mixture) to generate the second flames (rich flames) and hold the first flame. The air-fuel ratio of the second mixture is smaller than the first mixture.
RIBBON PACK FOR GAS BURNERS
A gas burner system comprising a longitudinal burner body defining a longitudinal central cavity, and a ribbon pack configured to be removably installed into the central cavity, the ribbon pack comprising: (i) at least one ribbon positioned between a first vertical wall and a second vertical wall; (ii) a first transverse arm extending horizontally outward from a first longitudinal side of the ribbon pack; (iii) a second transverse arm extending horizontally outward from a second longitudinal side of the ribbon pack, wherein the first and second transverse arms are configured to attach to the longitudinal burner body.
Surface combustion gas burner
The invention concerns a surface-combustion gas burner comprising a combustion grate consisting of a metal sheet pierced with a series of slots. This burner is remarkable in that said metal sheet comprises a series of deflectors made in one piece with said metal sheet and protruding on the outer face of same, each deflector extending longitudinally and laterally above the entire surface of a slot, and in that each deflector comprises a guide portion for guiding the gas flow and a junction portion joining to the metal sheet, said guide portion being spaced from the metal sheet in such a way as to provide therewith at least one lateral gas ejection port, said deflectors being disposed in pairs in such a way that the lateral gas ejection ports of same face each other.
Thin chamber burner
Burner assemblies including panels (e.g., transparent panels) supported in a substantially parallel, closely-spaced relationship and gaskets and spacers sealing the space between the panels to form a perimeter seal and to define a plenum between the first and second panels with an inlet into the plenum and an outlet out of the plenum.
BURNER COMPRISING A HEAT SHIELD AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE BURNER
A burner and associated methods are disclosed. The burner comprises a housing and a heat shield. The housing comprises an inlet for receiving gas, one or more outlets for expelling gas, and walls forming a gas cavity for directing the gas from the inlet to the outlet. The heat shield comprises a shield layer configured to cover at least a portion of at least one of the walls to thermally insulate the at least one of the walls from heat outside the gas cavity.
Flat burner
A flat burner has at an upper end thereof a rectangular flame port portion which has a straightening member with a plurality of straightening plates laterally disposed in parallel with one another. The straightening member has contact portions in which the straightening plates are brought into contact with one another at a plurality of longitudinal positions to thereby longitudinally segregate the flame port passages that are defined by each of the straightening plates. Out of the contact portions of the laterally inside straightening plates defining the laterally center-side flame port passages of the flame port portion, at least lower half of the contact portions that are positioned at least in predetermined longitudinal portions is formed into an inverse triangle as seen in the lateral direction. The predetermined longitudinal portions are those in which the inlet direction of flow of the fuel-air mixture from the distribution chamber portion into the flame port portion longitudinally inclines relative to a vertical direction beyond a predetermined angle.
Rich-lean flame burner
A rich-lean flame burner having on an upper part thereof: a longitudinally elongated lean burner port; and a rich burner port lying adjacent to at least one lateral side of the lean burner port with a clearance therebetween. At a plurality of longitudinal points of straightening members having a plurality of straightening plates which divide the lean burner port into a plurality of laterally sectioned regions, there are disposed first constricted portions which bring upper parts of the straightening plates into intimate contact with each other. Second constricted portions are disposed in at least laterally outermost straightening plates to further divide each portion of the lean burner port that has been divided by the first constricted portions. The second constricted portions are such that the lower end thereof is positioned above the lower end of the first constricted portions, and that the vertical length is shorter than the first constricted portions.
