Fire pit and method of use
A pyramid fire pit. The fire pit includes a first trapezoidal side plate having a first hook and a first slot defined in opposing upper corners, a second trapezoidal side plate having a second hook and a second slot defined in opposing upper corners, and a third trapezoidal side plate having a third hook and a third slot defined in opposing upper corners. The first hook locks into the second slot, the second hook locks into the third slot, and the third hook locks into the first slot so that the three side plates define between themselves an inverted triangular pyramid-shaped cavity in which a fire can be built.
WOOD HEATING DEVICE
The wood heating device, such as a stove or a wood-burner, includes a combustion chamber defined by a metal combustion space having an intake. The chamber is equipped with a closing mechanism of the retractable type, and at least one distinct oxidant air inlet orifice. The combustion space is housed in a metal outer casing. The outer casing defines with the combustion space at least one reserve of preheated air and an oxidant air duct. An outside-air supply opening is made in the outer casing and is arranged laterally to the intake. The reserve of preheated air bypasses the combustion space by at least one side starting from the outside-air supply opening.
Very shallow heating apparatus with very high yield and a wide view
A solid fuel heating apparatus (1) comprising a combustion chamber provided with a glass door (4) opening to the outside, an intake device (11) for the intake of outside combustion air into said chamber, an outlet duct for the burnt gases (2) and a sealed preheating enclosure for preheating the combustion air, conveying said air to the combustion chamber, connected at a first end to the intake device (11) and ending at a second end with a plurality of openings (9) releasing the air preheated by the preheating enclosure into the combustion chamber, characterized in that the preheating enclosure consists of a set of sealed heat exchanging pipes containing the combustion gases and the burnt gases (3, 8, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19), ending with the abovementioned openings (9), which are variable in size and are arranged in such a way as to modulate the flow of preheated air released into the chamber, enclosing the flame and combustion area in the natural conical shape of said chamber.
HEATING APPARATUS WITH FAN
A heating apparatus can have a sealed combustion chamber and a burner. The heating apparatus can have an air shutter that controls the amount of air that mixes with fuel directed toward the burner. The air shutter can be controlled by rotating a shaft that connects to the air shutter. The heating apparatus can also have a system of channels along its front face which direct air along the front face.
RADIATIVE FIRE PIT
A fire pit is disclosed that includes a radiant opening, a burn chamber, and a fuel grate. The burn chamber is defined by an inwardly facing surface of an inner wall and a bottom. The fuel grate is positioned within the burn chamber and supports combustible fuel for burning. The radiant opening is positioned within an external wall of the fire pit and exposes a portion of an outwardly facing surface of the inner wall proximate the radiant opening to the environment so that the exposed portion of the inner wall can emit radiant energy laterally through the radiant opening to the environment. The inner wall may include a high emissivity coating that promotes emission of radiant energy. The radiant opening may include a safety screen to prevent users of the fire pit from contacting the hot inner wall.
WOOD PELLET PATIO HEATER
A wood pellet patio heater having a rocket stove with a replaceable cartridge, secondary air control, and a heat reflector is described. The rocket stove having the replaceable cartridge of the wood pellet patio heater provides increased efficiency (i.e. less consumption of fuel over time). The secondary air control of the wood pellet patio heater facilitates combustion, and thus provides temperature control, where temperature control will require varying amounts of air depending on the quality of the fuel source. The heat dome provides increased heat profile.
