Flavor source manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing a flavor source includes: a step A of adding a basic substance to a tobacco raw material; a step B of heating the tobacco raw material added with the basic substance and releasing an inhaling flavor component into a vapor phase from the tobacco raw material; a step C of collecting the inhaling flavor component released into the vapor phase in the step B; a step D of washing a tobacco residue being the tobacco raw material obtained after the inhaling flavor component is released in the step B, with a washing solvent; a step E of pulverizing or cutting the tobacco residue obtained after being washed in the step D; and a step F of adding the inhaling flavor component collected in the step C to the tobacco residue obtained after pulverized or cut in the step E.
Capsule-containing pouched product for oral use
A pouched product adapted for release of a releasable component therefrom is provided herein. The pouched product can include a water-permeable fabric pouch formed so as to define a cavity therein, and a composition contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the composition including one or more releasable components that are released from the composition under mouth conditions and that are capable of movement through the water-permeable fabric pouch. The composition includes nicotine and at least one particulate non-tobacco material. The pouched product also includes at least one capsule contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the capsule having a capsule wall surrounding an inner payload comprising at least one botanical.
Method for preparing flavorful compounds isolated from black liquor and products incorporating the flavorful compounds
A method of isolating compounds from a tobacco-derived black liquor, including receiving a black liquor from a pulping process of an input material comprising a plant of the Nicotiana species, treating the black liquor with an acid to lower the pH of the black liquor to about 7 or lower in order to produce a precipitate and an acidified black liquor, separating the precipitate and the acidified black liquor, extracting the acidified black liquor with an organic solvent in order to produce an organic layer extract and an aqueous layer extract, and separating the organic layer extract and the aqueous layer extract.
PRODUCTS AND METHODS FOR RECONSTITUTED CANNABIS WITH NICOTINE
Reconstituted cannabis is prepared by processing cannabis plant material by breaking it down into small particles to form a pulp. Water, starch and other materials are added, and the moisture content of the resulting slurry is adjusted to about 50%. This viscous slurry is then applied to a perforated steel belt using high power sprayers to form a sheet. The sheet is dried and additional additives such as nicotine, flavorings and liquid removed from the slurry are added to the sheet. The resulting reconstituted cannabis formed is homogenous and contains evenly distributed CBD and nicotine. The reconstituted cannabis sheets may be cut into small particles for use as cigarette or cigar filler. The reconstituted cannabis, in the form of sheets or particulate matter, may also be incorporated into oral pouches, chewable products, edible products, vaporizer additives and as a carrier for CBD and nicotine for transdermal patches.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING TOBACCO FLAVOR LIQUID, TOBACCO FLAVOR LIQUID, METHOD FOR PRODUCING ESTER COMPOUND, AND SMOKING ARTICLE
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a tobacco flavor liquid that is useful for smoking articles, the tobacco flavor liquid, a method for producing an ester compound, and a smoking article that contains the tobacco flavor liquid.
The method according to the present embodiment for producing a tobacco flavor liquid comprises: extracting a component from a starting tobacco material using an organic solvent to give a tobacco component-containing liquid; and, in an oxygen-containing atmosphere, mixing the tobacco component-containing liquid with an aqueous solution, which contains a basic substance and an alcohol, and reacting therewith to thereby give a tobacco flavor liquid.
Homogenized tobacco material and method of production of homogenized tobacco material
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a homogenized tobacco material, said method comprising: —pulping and refining cellulose fibres to obtain fibres having a mean size per weight comprised between about 0.2 millimetres and about 4 millimetres; —grinding a blend of tobacco of one or more tobacco types to tobacco particles having a mean size per weight comprised between about 0.03 millimetres and about 0.12 millimetres; —Combining the cellulose fibres with the tobacco particles and with a binder to form a slurry; —homogenizing the slurry; —adding asparaginase to the slurry; and—forming the homogenized tobacco material from the slurry, wherein the homogenized tobacco material comprises from about 1 percent and about 5 percent in dry weight basis of the binder.
ORAL PRODUCT
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use and a process for preparing such oral products. The products include a cellulose material selected from the group consisting of maize fiber, oat fiber, barley fiber, rye fiber, buckwheat fiber, sugar beet fiber, bran fiber, bamboo fiber, wood pulp fiber, cotton fiber, citrus pulp fiber, grass fiber, willow fiber, poplar fiber, cocoa fiber, derivatives thereof, and combinations thereof; and a cannabinoid.
ORAL PRODUCT
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use and a process for preparing such oral products. The products include a cannabinoid, a filler, and water. The water content of the oral product is at least about 10% by weight of the oral product, and the water activity of the oral product is no greater than about 0.85.
PLANT PRODUCT INFUSED WITH OIL AND METHOD OF INFUSION
An oil-infused plant product and method of infusing is provided. The method includes placing dried botanical matter with an alcohol and oil mixture into a pressurizable container, pressurizing and heating the pressurizable container, allowing the botanical matter and oil/alcohol mixture to remain in the container for a development time period while the oil is drawn into the botanical matter, and removing the oil/alcohol mixture via a vacuum. The botanical matter may be a processed plant matter, such as a blunt wrapper, or may be a natural or minimally processed plant matter, such as dried edible plants, smokable herbs, or herbs suitable for brewing (such as tea, coffee, and herbal tea components). The oil may be any nontoxic oil.
Vaporizable tobacco wax compositions and container thereof
The invention relates to tobacco wax compositions suitable for use in a vaporizer. The tobacco wax may comprise additional excipients including vapor agents, penetration agents, buffer agents, and rheological agents. The composition contains nicotine. The tobacco wax composition leaves a minimum of residue in the vaporizer when used. In another aspect, the invention relates to a portion-sized container (pod) of a tobacco wax composition for administration to a mammal or person. The pod is intended for use in a personal (or other) vaporizer.
