20250024877 · 2025-01-23 ·

The present disclosure discusses a method for extracting flavors from tobacco leaves using one or more food grade solvents. In certain embodiments, the food grade solvents are either ethyl acetate, or ethanol, or a mixture of both.

METHOD OF PRODUCING A LIQUID TOBACCO EXTRACT

A method of producing a liquid tobacco extract is provided, including: preparing a tobacco starting material including natural tobacco material; heating the tobacco starting material in a non-sealed extraction chamber at an extraction temperature of between 125 C. and 160 C. for between 90 minutes and 270 minutes to release gaseous volatile compounds from the tobacco starting material, the tobacco starting material not being in a liquid suspension during the heating step, a flow of inert gas being passed through the tobacco starting material during the heating in the extraction chamber, and the inert gas carrying the gaseous volatile compounds released from the tobacco starting material during heating away from the chamber; collecting the volatile compounds released and carried away from the tobacco starting material by the inert gas flow during the heating; and forming a liquid tobacco extract including the collected volatile compounds.

METHOD FOR ISOLATING AND PURIFYING NEOPHYTADIENE FROM LEAF TOBACCO, NEOPHYTADIENE COMPOSITION, NON-COMBUSTION HEATING-TYPE FLAVOR INHALER, NON-COMBUSTION NON-HEATING TYPE FLAVOR INHALER, COMBUSTION-TYPE FLAVOR INHALER AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SAME

his invention provides a method for efficiently isolating and purifying neophytadiene from leaf tobacco with high yield and purity. The method involves: adding an aprotic solvent to leaf tobacco for extraction and removing residue to obtain an extraction liquid; adding an acidic aqueous solution for liquid-liquid extraction and removing the aqueous layer; adding a protic solvent for further liquid-liquid extraction and removing the solvent layer; evaporating the solvent to obtain dried matter; adding a protic solvent to form a solution; removing precipitates to obtain a supernatant; replacing the solvent with an aprotic solvent to form a new solution; and isolating and purifying neophytadiene using normal phase HPLC.

The present application is related to an electronic cigarette liquid and a method of producing pulp for use in the electronic cigarette liquid, the method includes: using a stainless steel bathing can with a 500 Liter capacity that can endure heating and pressurizing; placing the pulp and original liquid used for bathing inside the can at a pre-determined ratio. After heating, pressurizing and bathing, the absorption of the pulp is fully attained. Then, opening a ball valve and releasing and collecting only the liquid from the bathing can and taking out the viscous pulp for packaging. The hookah pulp product is obtained with a solid extract of the hookah pulp product being 90% or above of the hookah pulp product.
