Indoor unit of an air conditioner

A front end of a steering grill from which air is discharged protrudes further than the front surface of a door assembly, and the steering grill is steered by a steering assembly, and thus conditioned air may be provided by a directed air movement to a long-distance target region, and since the front end of the steering grill protrudes further than the front surface of the door assembly, the occurrence of flow resistance as a result of a cabinet assembly or the door assembly interfering with the discharged air may be minimized, and the direction of the steering grill may be instantly changed, by means of steering, from any one direction to another among up, down, left, right, upper left, lower left, upper right, or lower right.

An air conditioner unit includes a blower fan. The blower fan includes a blade assembly and a motor connected to the blade assembly. The air conditioner unit also includes an inlet grille upstream of the blower fan and an outlet grille downstream of the blower fan. The air conditioner unit further includes an automatic louver assembly operatively connected to the outlet grille whereby air flowing through the outlet grille is directed in a first direction when the automatic louver assembly is in a first position and the air flowing through the outlet grille is directed in a second direction when the automatic louver assembly is in a second position.

INDOOR UNIT OF AN AIR CONDITIONER

An air conditioner may provide a a fan housing assembly that moves in the front-rear direction by the operation of an actuator, and the fan housing assembly moves so as to pass through a front outlet arranged on a door assembly to be in a projected state, and the front end of the fan housing assembly protrudes further to the front than the front surface of the door assembly; and through the projected state, may provide conditioned air by a direct air flow to a long-distance target region. The configuration may enable the minimization of interference between the discharged air and the door assembly, and the minimization of flow loss of the discharged air since, when the fan housing assembly is in the projected state, a steering grill is in a state of protruding to the outside of the door assembly by passing through the front outlet.

BACKDRAFT DAMPER HAVING DAMPER BLADES WITH OPPOSED MOVEMENT LINKAGE

A door cover assembly closes a front discharge port when a fan assembly is not operated and allows the door cover assembly to move out of the front discharge port, and the front discharge port opens when the fan assembly is operated, and a fan housing assembly can protrude out of a door assembly by means of an actuator when the front discharge port is opened.

Switch mechanism, geared motor and damper device

A switch mechanism may include a lever holding part which is provided in a case, a turnable lever provided with a shaft part turnably supported by the lever holding part and a first arm part and a second arm part protruded from the shaft part, an urging member structured to urge the turnable lever, and a switch whose state is switched by displacement of the turnable lever. The turnable lever is attached to the lever holding part in a state that the urging member is engaged between the first arm part and the second arm part, and the urging member is movable between an engaging position, where the urging member is engaged between the first arm part and the second arm part, and an engaging release position, where the urging member is engaged with the second arm part and is disengaged from the first arm part.

Window-shades mechanism with an anti-backflow function, related fan device and electronic apparatus

A window-shades mechanism with an anti-backflow function is applied to a fan device and an electronic apparatus. The window-shades mechanism includes a supporter, a blade, a shaft and a connecting rod. The blade is disposed inside the supporter and includes two sides. Each side includes a first region and a second region. The shaft is connected to the supporter and the blade. The connecting rod is connected to the second region on the side of the blade. The connecting rod has a holding portion. When the connecting rod is moved by the holding portion, the blade is driven to rotate relative to the supporter via the shaft.
