POUCHED PRODUCTS WITH ENHANCED FLAVOR STABILITY
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including compositions comprising a porous alumina component and a releasable material that is retained in pores of the porous alumina. The releasable material retained in the pores of the porous alumina may be configured for controlled release therefrom.
Dissolvable films impregnated with encapsulated tobacco, tea, coffee, botanicals, and flavors for oral products
A process for preparing an orally-enjoyable film of encapsulated plant material includes combining particles of finely divided plant material, a first coating material, and a second coating material, then inducing gelation to form a gel matrix of the particles coated with the first coating material embedded in the second coating material, followed by forming a film from the gel matrix. Also disclosed is a film of coated particles of finely-divided plant material, made of a gel matrix of plant material at least partially surrounded by a first coating material and embedded in a second coating material.
WATER-PIPE CAPSULE COMPOSITION
A capsule for delivery of a flavoring in water-pipe smoke is disclosed herein. The disclosed capsule includes a core bead of an inert material and a coating layer encapsulating the bead. The coating layer contains a flavoring, an absorbent-binder, a mist-maker, a sweetener, a thickener. The coating layer is configured to provide release of the flavoring, sweetener and of the mist-maker when heated.
Kind of microburst-microcapsule used for cigarettes and smoking articles with such microburst-microcapsules
This invention discloses a kind of microburst-microcapsule designed for cigarettes and a smoking article with such microburst-microcapsules. Wherein the microburst-microcapsule is composed of a microcapsule wall and an aerosol generation material encapsulated by the microcapsule wall. The microburst-microcapsule can be filled in cigarette. When the cigarette lights, the high temperature generated from its combustion zone will vaporize the nearest aerosol generation materials packaged in the aforesaid microburst-microcapsule. The vapor pressure will cause the microcapsule wall burst. As a result, the aerosol from the aforesaid aerosol generation materials will vapor out of the microcapsule wall. Tobacco-free carbonaceous fuels or solid carbonaceous from high temperature vacuum destructive distillation of tobacco filament can be used as combustion materials for aforesaid cigarettes.
Electrically Heated Smoking Article
An electrically heated smoking article includes a filter layer, a hollow tube layer stacked at a lower end of the filter layer, an aerosol-forming substrate layer stacked below the hollow tube layer and including a mixture of a solid moisture absorbent and a liquid aerosol-forming substrate capsule, and a wrapping portion surrounding the filter layer, the hollow tube layer, and the aerosol-forming substrate layer to maintain a stack structure. The liquid aerosol-forming substrate capsule includes a liquid aerosol-forming substrate at a center, a first emulsifier layer completely surrounding the liquid aerosol-forming substrate, and a first coating material layer covering a surface of the first emulsifier layer.
GROUND TOBACCO COMPOSITION
Embodiments described herein include a ground tobacco composition, wherein at least 90% by weight of the tobacco in the composition has a particle size in the range of about 200 m to about 5 mm.
A POUCHED PRODUCT FOR ORAL USE
Described is a pouched product for oral use that includes a liquid permeable cover material and a portion sized amount of a filling material including a water insoluble particulate material, the filling material being enclosed by the liquid permeable cover material. The water insoluble particulate material contains less than 0.5% of particles passing through a sieve having a mesh size of 250 m, the filling material includes one or more water soluble components.
CAPSULE CONTAINING A MATRIX, DEVICE WITH THE MATRIX, AND METHOD OF FORMING THE MATRIX
The capsule includes the matrix with one or more portions of a filler material. The filler material is a plant-based cellulose material. The one or more portions define interstices. A containing structure contains the matrix. A consumable substance is infused within the filler material. The consumable substance is nicotine, a flavorant, a pre-aerosol formulation, a combination thereof, or a sub-combination thereof. The device includes a heating section with the capsule.
Smoking article with liquid release component having frangible shell
A smoking article (10) incorporates a liquid release component (20), the liquid release component comprising an inner core of a sustained release liquid delivery material and a frangible outer shell encapsulating the inner core. The liquid delivery material comprises a closed matrix structure comprising a cross-linked polymer matrix defining a plurality of domains; and a liquid composition that is trapped within the domains and is releasable from the closed matrix structure upon compression of the material. The frangible outer coating comprises at least one film-forming polymer and at least one plasticiser.
