METHOD FOR WHITENING TOBACCO
A method of preparing a whitened tobacco material for use in a smokeless tobacco product is provided, including: (i) extracting a tobacco material with an extraction solution to provide a tobacco solids material and a tobacco extract; (ii) cooking the tobacco solids material in an alkaline sulfite cooking liquor including sulfite ions and having a pH of greater than 7 to form a tobacco pulp; (iii) bleaching the tobacco pulp with a bleaching solution to provide a bleached tobacco material; and (iv) drying the bleached tobacco material to provide the whitened tobacco material.
METHOD FOR WHITENING TOBACCO
A method of preparing a whitened tobacco material for use in a smokeless tobacco product, including: (i) extracting a tobacco material with an aqueous solution to provide a tobacco solids material and a tobacco extract; (ii) bleaching the tobacco solids material with a solution comprising a strong base, an oxidizing agent, or a combination thereof to provide a bleached tobacco material; and (iii) drying the bleached tobacco material to provide the whitened tobacco material; wherein the tobacco solids material is not subjected to treatment at an elevated temperature with sulfur-containing reagents, organic solvents, sodium hydroxide, or an acid between the extraction and the bleaching.
ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR WHITENING TOBACCO
The present disclosure provides a method of preparing whitened tobacco composition including chemically pulping a tobacco material to form a tobacco pulp, extracting the tobacco pulp with an extraction solution, treating the tobacco pulp with a solution comprising an oxidizing agent for a time and at a temperature sufficient to lighten the color of the tobacco pulp to give a whitened tobacco pulp, and drying the whitened tobacco pulp to provide the whitened tobacco composition. Alternative bleaching processes and treatment methods effective for preparing whitened tobacco compositions are also provided herein.
SMOKING PRODUCT TO WHICH TRIPLE CARE TECHNOLOGY FOR REDUCING TOBACCO SMELL IS APPLIED
A smoking product includes: a smoking material portion which is wrapped by a smoking material wrapper; a filter portion whose upstream end portion is combined with the smoking material portion, which includes a capsule containing a flavoring, and which is wrapped by a filter wrapper; and a tipping wrapper which surrounds at least a partial region of the smoking material portion and the filter portion so that the smoking material portion and the filter portion are combined, wherein the tipping wrapper includes a first perforation region including a plurality of perforations formed along an outer circumferential surface of the tipping wrapper and a second perforation region including a plurality of perforations formed downstream of the first perforation region and along the outer circumferential surface of the tipping wrapper, and the capsule is disposed downstream of the first perforation region and upstream of the second perforation region.
Vaporizable Tobacco Wax Compositions and Container Thereof
The invention relates to tobacco wax compositions suitable for use in a vaporizer. The tobacco wax may comprise additional excipients including vapor agents, penetration agents, buffer agents, and theological agents. The composition contains nicotine. The tobacco wax composition leaves a minimum of residue in the vaporizer when used. In another aspect, the invention relates to a portion-sized container (pod) of a tobacco wax composition for administration to a mammal or person. The pod is intended tor use in a personal (or other) vaporizer.
WHITENED TOBACCO COMPOSITION
A method of preparing a whitened tobacco material is provided, the method including the steps of (i) extracting a tobacco material with an aqueous solution to give a tobacco pulp and a tobacco extract; (ii) treating the tobacco pulp with at least one of a caustic reagent and an oxidizing agent for a time and at a temperature sufficient to lighten the color of the tobacco pulp to give a whitened tobacco pulp; (iii) clarifying the tobacco extract to remove higher molecular weight components; and (iv) combining the whitened tobacco pulp with a clarified tobacco extract to form a whitened tobacco material. The whitened tobacco material can be isolated and incorporated into a smokeless tobacco product. The invention also provides a smokeless tobacco product incorporating a whitened tobacco material. The smokeless tobacco product may be a snus-type formulation contained within a sealed pouch.
IMPROVED METHOD OF PRODUCING A LIQUID TOBACCO EXTRACT
A method of producing a liquid tobacco extract is provided, the method including the steps of: preparing a tobacco material; heating the tobacco material in an extraction chamber at an extraction temperature of between 120 degrees Celsius and 160 degrees Celsius for at least 90 minutes; spraying atomised water into the extraction chamber during the heating step; collecting volatile compounds released from the tobacco material during the heating step; and forming a liquid tobacco extract comprising the collected volatile compounds. A liquid tobacco extract produced by the method is also provided.
Whitened tobacco compostion
Extraction method of flavor constituent and manufacturing method of composition element of favorite item
An extraction method of a flavor constituent comprises: a step A for heating a tobacco raw material which is subjected to an alkali treatment; and a step B for bringing a release component released in the gas phase in the step A into contact with a collection solvent at normal temperature until any time from when a first condition is satisfied to when a second condition is satisfied. The first condition is determined based on a residual rate of nicotine component. The second condition is determined based on a remaining amount of nicotine component.
