METHOD OF AGING SMOKING MATERIAL BY UTILIZING OAK BARREL AND SMOKING ARTICLE MANUFACTURED USING THE SAME
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method of aging smoking materials for constituting at least a portion of a smoking material portion of a smoking article, the method including preparing an oak barrel and the smoking materials, putting the smoking materials into an inner space of the oak barrel, sealing the oak barrel, and aging the smoking materials.
Flavoured moist oral pouched nicotine product comprising triglyceride
The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched nicotine product comprising a moist filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch of a packaging material enclosing the moist filling material, wherein the moist filling material comprises a particulate non-tobacco material, such as microcrystalline cellulose, a flavouring agent, a nicotine source, a pH adjusting agent, and within the range of from about 0.5 to about 20% by weight, based on total weight of the filling material, of triglyceride. The moist filling material may further comprise a tobacco material within the range of from about 0 wt % to about 10 wt % based on the total weight of the moist filling material.
High-purity steviol glycosides
Methods of preparing highly purified steviol glycosides, particularly rebaudiosides A, D and M are described. The methods include utilizing recombinant microorganisms for converting various staring compositions to target steviol glycosides. In addition, novel steviol glycosides reb D2 and reb M2 are disclosed, as are methods of preparing the same. The highly purified rebaudiosides are useful as non-caloric sweetener in edible and chewable compositions such as any beverages, confectioneries, bakery products, cookies, and chewing gums.
ORAL POUCH PRODUCT
An oral pouch product includes a wrapper and a filling material. The wrapper defines a cavity. The filling material is in the cavity. The filling material includes a dry mixture and a liquid mixture. The dry mixture includes a cellulosic material and a water-soluble filler. The liquid mixture includes an oil and liquid nicotine. The oil includes a triglyceride, a diglyceride, a monoglyceride, or any combination thereof. The liquid nicotine is dissolved in the oil. The filling material is free of water or includes water in an amount less than or equal to 5 weight percent.

Method of treating smokeless tobacco
The method includes first adding at least one first chelator to smokeless tobacco, second adding at least one first antioxidant to the smokeless tobacco, the at least one first antioxidant being different than the at least one first chelator, and third adding at least one first flavorant to the smokeless tobacco, wherein the first adding occurs before the third adding.
NICOTINE POUCH WITH CAPSULE HAVING MCT OIL
Embodiments of the present invention provide pouches including a capsule delivers medium chain triglycerides (MCT), which are a non-stick oil agent that prevent the paper from sticking during use. This oil is released from the capsule and flows through the walls of the pouch paper to substantially improve mouth feel and flavor. The oil can be flavored, and the nicotine pouch offers a pleasant mouth feel during use without sticking to the gums. The capsule can also provide an anti-sting effect that reduces unpleasant effects of nicotine for sensitive users.
Soft oral product
An oral product includes a body that is wholly receivable in an oral cavity. The body includes a polymer matrix and one or more flavorants and/or active ingredients embedded in the polymer matrix. The polymer matrix can include a copolymer of ethylene and one or more vinyl monomers or zein. For example, the polymer can be ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. In some cases, the oral product can include tobacco and/or nicotine.
NEW TOBACCO SUBSTITUTES
A tobacco substitute for the production of smoking products and/or smoking product substitutes, the tobacco substitute being based on a mixture of plant parts comprising plant parts derived from Alchemilla vulgaris and Myrtus communis, at least 5% by weight of caffeine-containing plant parts derived from both Ilex paraguayensis and Thea sinensis, at least 10% by weight of Althea officinalis leaves, and moreover 1 to 5% by weight of hyaluronic acid.
Coated tobacco particles suitable for usage in a smokeless tobacco product
A process for preparing coated particles of a plant material includes: (a) combining plant material particles and a protein in a liquid medium, wherein the protein adsorbs onto at least a portion of a surface of the particles to form a first layer; and (b) mixing a polysaccharide including a pectin with the liquid medium, so that the polysaccharide adsorbs onto at least a portion of a surface of the first layer to form a second layer. In addition, a palatable product comprising at least one coated particle prepared by this process is described.
