Aerosol-Generating Tobacco-Containing Composition Comprising Medium-Chain Triglyceride
An aerosol-generating tobacco-containing composition, preferably provided in a form of a foam or mousse, and an aerosol-generating article including the composition, are provided. The composition includes particulate tobacco material and lipid, wherein the lipid is medium-chain triglyceride, and a ratio of the medium-chain triglyceride to the particulate tobacco material on a dry weight basis is between 1:3 and 1:5.
A Method of Forming a Foam for an Aerosol-Generating Article and a Foam Thereof
An improved aeration of foam as well as a method of forming the foam for an aerosol-generating article includes (a) mixing an aerosol-forming agent, a foam-forming agent and optionally a solvent and/or at least one non-tobacco flavoring agent, preferably under heating; (b) adding to the mixture a tobacco-containing agent and/or an inhalable agent; (c) adding a foam-stabilizing agent; (d) cooling of the mixture; wherein the mixture is aerated after the adding of the foam-stabilizing agent and/or after cooling of the mixture, and wherein sodium bicarbonate is added to the mixture before cooling of the mixture, wherein the sodium bicarbonate content is less than 1 wt. % based on the total weight of the foam.
Hot Pressed Tobacco Substrate
A method brings an aerosol releasing substrate for use in a heat-not-burn device into a stable shape, wherein the aerosol releasing substrate contains: 20-70% aerosol former as well as tobacco particles and/or an inhalable agent, which contains at least one of a stimulant and/or a flavor. The aerosol releasing substrate also contains a gelling agent for gelling the aerosol releasing substrate and a degradation preventing and/or thickening stabilizer. The method includes the steps of: a) producing the aerosol releasing substrate and b) pressing the aerosol releasing substrate with pressure and heat and by using a mold into a desired shape. An aerosol releasing substrate for use in a heat-not-burn device, is an air permeable compressed mass and includes tobacco particles and/or an inhalable agent, a gelling agent, a degradation preventing and/or thickening stabilizer, as well as 20-70% aerosol former.
Nicotine liquid formulations for aerosol devices and methods thereof
A nicotine liquid formulation comprising nicotine, an acid, and a biologically acceptable liquid carrier, wherein heating an amount of said nicotine liquid formulation using low temperature electronic vaporization device, i.e. an electronic cigarette, generates an inhalable aerosol, and wherein at least about 50% of said acid in said amount is in said aerosol, and wherein at least about 90% of said nicotine in said amount is in said aerosol.
MODIFIED AEROSOL-GENERATING ELEMENT FOR USE IN AN AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE OR SYSTEM
An aerosol-generating element for an aerosol-generating article or system is provided, the element including: a solid continuous matrix structure; and an aerosol-generating formulation dispersed within the structure, in which the formulation is trapped within the structure and releasable from the structure upon heating of the element, in which the structure is an alginate matrix, in which the formulation consists of: nicotine from 1% by weight to 4% by weight of a total weight of the element, glycerin from 60% by weight to 80% by weight of the total weight of the element, a carboxylic acid from 0.5% by weight to 4% by weight of the total weight of the element, and balance water, in which the formulation dispersed within the structure is at least about 80% by weight of a total weight of the element, and in which the element includes less than 15% by weight of water.
LIQUID COMPOSITION FOR LIQUID HEATING-TYPE THERMAL FLAVOR INHALER
The present invention relates to a liquid composition for a liquid heating-type flavor inhaler. A liquid composition for a liquid heating-type flavor inhaler of the present invention contains (1) propylene glycol and glycerol, (2) nicotine, (3) benzoic acid, and (4) one or more organic acids excluding benzoic acid. Another liquid composition for a liquid heating-type flavor inhaler of the present invention contains (1) propylene glycol and glycerol, (2) nicotine, and (4) one or more organic acids excluding benzoic acid.
Process For Incorporating Additives Into Aerosol-Producing Substrates and Products Made Therefrom
A process is disclosed for incorporating additives into aerosol-producing substrates. During the process, an additive is incorporated into an infusing liquid. An aerosol-producing filler is submerged in the infusing liquid and the resulting mixture is subjected to reduced pressures that cause the infusing liquid to infuse into the material. The material is dried leaving behind the additive in a controlled amount and uniformly dispersed throughout the material. In one application, cannabidiol is incorporated into a tobacco filler or a hemp filler.
ORAL POUCHED PRODUCT WITH HIGH DENSITY LOAD
A composition enclosed in a pouch to form a pouched product configured for oral use is provided, the composition including a filler in an amount of at least 20% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, and at least one active ingredient, at least one flavorant, or a combination thereof. The composition is loaded within the pouch at a density of about 0.45 g/cm.sup.3 or higher. Further provided are methods of preparing the pouched product.
ORAL PRODUCT
An oral product includes a body that is wholly receivable in an oral cavity. The body includes a mouth-stable polymer matrix, cellulosic fibers embedded in the mouth-stable polymer matrix, and a mouth-soluble binder dispersed in the mouth-stable polymer matrix.
