HEAT EXCHANGER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A heat exchanger includes a first row of flat tubes, a second row of flat tubes, a first header causing first ends of the flat tubes in the first row in a first direction to communicate with each other, a second header causing first ends of the flat tubes in the second row in the first direction to communicate with each other, and a third header that causes the second ends to communicate with each other and connects the first and second rows to cause refrigerant to flow between the first header and the second header. The flat tubes are arranged outside a space between the segments of the third header. A stress-absorbing part is provided in at least a bending target portion of one of the first header and the second header subjected to larger stress from the bending than the other one of the first header and the second header.

Road vehicle provided with a cooling system with “V”-shaped dual radiator
A road vehicle having: two front wheels; two rear wheels; an engine, which transmits the motion to drive wheels; and a cooling system, which is connected to the engine. The cooling system has: a cooling circuit where a cooling liquid flows; two first radiators, which are connected to the cooling circuit and make up, together, a first “V”-shaped structure, which is arranged on a right side of the road vehicle; and two second radiators, which are connected to the cooling circuit and make up, together, a second “V”-shaped structure, which is arranged on a left side of the road vehicle.
Condensate receptor for vertical mounted v-coil heat exchanger
Disclosed is a receptor for receiving condensate from a v-coil heat exchanger (v-coil), the receptor having: a first channel having a first length defined between first opposing ends, the first channel configured to receive the v-coil; a second channel having a second length defined between second opposing ends, the second channel including: a first orifice intermediate the second opposing ends for receiving condensate from the first channel, the first orifice being fluidly connected to one end of the first opposing ends at a junction; and a fluid drain port at one or both of the second opposing ends.
HEAT EXCHANGER ASSEMBLY HAVING AT LEAST ONE MULTI-PASS HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEAT EXCHANGER ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a heat exchanger assembly with at least one multi-pass heat exchanger, comprising a first distributor (1) with a first connection part (1a) for connecting to a fluid line (9), a second distributor (2) with a second connection part (2a) for connecting to a fluid line (9), and at least one first deflection distributor (4), as well as a plurality of tube lines (5) through which a fluid, in particular water, can flow, wherein the first distributor (1) and the second distributor (2) are arranged at one end (A) of the heat exchanger assembly, the deflection distributor (4) is arranged at the opposite end (B) and the tube lines (5) extend from the one end (A) to the opposite end (B), and wherein the first connection part (1a) is arranged at a lowest point (T) or at least near to the lowest point (T) of the first distributor (1) and the second connection piece (2a) is arranged at a lowest point (T) or at least near to the lowest point (T) of the second distributor (2). In order to allow for the heat exchanger assembly to be quickly filled with the fluid and quickly emptied, a third connection part (3) is arranged on the first distributor (1) and/or on the second distributor (2) at a highest point (H) or at least near to the highest point (H) of the respective distributor (1 or 2), and at least one ventilation opening (10) is provided at a highest point (T) or at least near to the highest point (T) of the deflection distributor (4) for pressure equalisation with the environment.
Furnace control systems and methods
A furnace of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a heat exchange tube configured to receive a working fluid from a burner and a modulating valve fluidly coupled to the burner. The modulating valve is configured to regulate an amount of fuel supplied to the burner to generate the working fluid. The furnace also includes a blower configured to draw the working fluid through the heat exchange tube, a motor drive configured to adjust a speed of the blower, and a controller configured to adjust a position of the modulating valve and to control the motor drive to adjust the speed of the blower based on a temperature of air discharged from the HVAC system.
OUTDOOR UNIT AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes, a liquid header distributor, and a gas header distributor. The heat transfer tubes include U-shaped bent portions. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger core. A relationship between the liquid header distributor and the plurality of heat transfer tubes is established such that 9≤ζ is satisfied, where Lh [m] is the length of the liquid header distributor, Lb [m] is the length of the shortest one of the heat transfer tubes, and ζ is the ratio of the length Lb of the shortest heat transfer tube to the length Lh of the liquid header distributor and is expressed by ζ=Lb/Lh.
