In one embodiment, the heat exchanger is a microchannel heat exchanger operable to exchange heat with air in an HVAC system via refrigerant passing through the microchannel heat exchanger. The microchannel heat exchanger includes an array of flat tubes arranged between a first manifold and a second manifold. The array of flat tubes includes multiple tubes coupled in fluid communication with the first manifold and the second manifold to convey refrigerant between the first manifold and the second manifold through microchannels of the multiple tubes. The array of flat tubes also includes one or more dead tubes that do not convey refrigerant between the first manifold and the second manifold. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
Plate fin heat exchanger flexible manifold
A flexible manifold adapted for use on a plate-fin heat exchanger core, the flexible manifold including a plurality of individual layers configured to be metallurgically joined to respective ones of a plurality of layers of the plate-fin heat exchanger core, and further including a first end with at least one port adapted to receive or discharge a medium, a second end distal from the first end, adapted to transfer the medium to or from the plurality of individual layers, a plurality of horizontal guide vanes defining the plurality of individual layers, and a plurality vertical members positioned within each of the individual layers. The flexible manifold is configured to be mechanically and thermally compliant, and can be metallurgically joined to the heat exchanger core by brazing or welding.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR COOLING ELECTRICAL ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for cooling an electrical element and a heat exchanger assembly for cooling an electrical element, and more particularly, to a heat exchanger for cooling an electrical element and a heat exchanger assembly for cooling an electrical element into which the electrical element may be easily inserted and in which both surfaces of the electrical element and a tube through which a coolant flows are formed to contact each other to improve cooling performance.
FROST TOLERANT MICROCHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger is provided including a first manifold, a second manifold, and a plurality of heat exchange tube segments fluidly coupling the first and second manifold. The heat exchange tube segments include a bend defining a first slab and a second arranged at an angle to one another. Each of the heat exchange tube segments includes at least a first heat exchange tube and a second heat exchange tube at least partially connected by a web extending there between. The first heat exchange tube and the second heat exchange tube are asymmetrical such that a cross-sectional flow area of the first heat exchange tube is different than that of the second heat exchange tube. A fluid flows sequentially through the first heat exchange tubes of the first slab and the second slab, and then through the second heat exchange tubes of the second slab and first slab.
Heat Exchanger
The present disclosure provides a heat exchanger, including flat tubes and at least one fin, wherein each flat tube includes a first tube section, a bent tube section and a second tube section, which are connected in sequence; a plurality of flat tubes are provided, and the plurality of flat tubes are arranged in an array; and an extension direction of each fin is perpendicular to an extension direction of the each flat tube, the each fin is connected to at least a part of the plurality of bent tube sections, and the each fin shields at least a part of the structures of the plurality of bent tube sections.
MULTI-PASS AND MULTI-SLAB FOLDED MICROCHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger is provided including a first manifold and a second manifold separated from one another. A plurality of tube segments arranged in a spaced parallel relationship fluidly couple the first and second manifold. The plurality of tube segments includes a bend defining a first slab and a second slab. The second slab is arranged at an angle to the first slab. The heat exchanger has a multi-pass configuration relative to an air flow including at least a first pass and a second pass. The first pass has a first flow orientation and the second pass has a second flow orientation. The second flow orientation is different from the first flow orientation.
NESTED LOOP HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger to exchange heat from a first fluid to a second fluid includes a center manifold to receive the first fluid, a first inner loop having an inner loop inlet and an inner loop outlet, and a first outer loop disposed around the first inner loop, the first outer loop having an outer loop inlet and an outer loop outlet, wherein the inner loop inlet and the outer loop inlet are adjacent, and the inner loop outlet and the outer loop outlet are adjacent.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
The present disclosure discloses a heat exchanger and an air conditioning system having the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanger core, a second heat exchanger core and a connection part. Heat exchange tubes of the first heat exchanger core and the second heat exchanger core include first circuit heat exchange tubes. A length of the heat exchange tube of the first heat exchanger core is greater than a length of the heat exchange tube of the second heat exchanger core. The connection part includes a first connection part through which the first circuit heat exchange tubes of the first heat exchanger core are connected with the first circuit heat exchange tubes of the second heat exchanger core. The heat exchange tubes of at least one of the first heat exchanger core and the second heat exchanger core further include second circuit heat exchange tubes. First circuit heat exchange tube groups each constituted by at least one of the first circuit heat exchange tubes and second circuit heat exchange tube groups each constituted by at least one of the second circuit heat exchange tubes are arranged alternately.
