Automatic reloading device for a weapon with a double ammunition magazine, and weapon system comprising it
An automatic reloading device for a weapon fed by two ammunition magazines includes first and second ammunition conveyors, each movable in phase opposition between a position for collecting a piece of ammunition from a magazine and a position for reloading the weapon. The automatic reloading device includes a single actuator, able to output an alternating motion, and movement devices for transmitting the alternating motion to the first and second ammunition conveyors and converting it into movements of the first and second ammunition conveyors for an alternating feeding of the weapon. A weapon system can include such an automatic reloading device.

Variable payload magazine with automatic reload feature
A magazine for loading projectiles into a launch assembly by gravity feed. The magazine has a plurality blades radially extending from a central axis and defining a like plurality of compartments in an axially rotatable ring. The ring rests upon a stationary deck plate having a hole for gravity feed of the projectile into the launch assembly below. Projectiles having different fight characteristics are deposited into the compartments at a safe location, supported by the deck plate and the launch assembly with an associated device are transported to a hostile environment. A first projectile is launched by the launch assembly in a longitudinal direction. The launch assembly is retracted, automatically indexing the rotatable ring and dropping the next projectile through the hole and into the launch assembly for subsequent launch.

Assembly for positioning and keeping in position a projectile in a stretcher and loading-aid device comprising such an assembly
The invention relates to a rammer (1) for positioning an artillery shell, the rammer (1) comprising a stretcher (2) intended to receive the shell and guide it in translation, the rammer (1) being characterized in that it comprises a pusher (4) which can be driven in a reciprocating movement along the stretcher (2), reciprocating movement which is provided by a pair of closed flexible links (6) arranged on either side of the pusher (4), each link (6) connecting a drive wheel (6b) and a free wheel (6a), the pusher (4) having a bearing surface intended to correspond with a rear face of the shell in order to push it.
