A firearm operating system includes a housing, a central pivoting member disposed within the housing, a trigger including a portion disposed within the housing and a portion extending outside the housing such that the portion of the trigger within the housing includes a hole and at least one finger that extends in a first direction from the hole. Due to movement of the trigger, the at least one finger presses against the central pivoting member to cause the central pivoting member to rotate.

TRIGGER-CYCLED FIREARM

Trigger-cycled firearms have a frame, a barrel, a bolt assembly connected to the frame in registration with the barrel and operable to reciprocate between a retracted position and a forward battery position, a trigger lever connected to the frame and operable to move between a forward rest position and a rearward actuated position, and the trigger lever operably connected to the bolt to move the bolt from the forward battery position to the retracted position and to release the bolt to the forward battery position and discharge the firearm in response to movement of the trigger lever from the forward rest position to the rearward actuated position when the bolt is in the forward position. There may be a connector bar pivotally connected to the frame and operably engaged to the bolt assembly and to the trigger lever. The connector bar may be slidably connected to the bolt assembly.

Radial delayed blowback operating system, such as for AR 15 platform

A delayed rotary blowback mechanism integrated into a firearm bolt and carrier subassembly. A plurality of lugs are configured at a rear of the bolt and seat within a mating profile of a barrel extension of the firearm in a fully chambered position. Chamfered locations are configured between the lugs and a receiving profile in the barrel extension for influencing linear to rotational motion of the bolt. A cam pin extends upwardly from the bolt and seats through a circumferentially directed slot configured within the bolt carrier. Upon initiating of the discharge cycle of a fired round traveling out the end of the barrel, the chamfered configuration results in the bolt and cam pin rotating within the carrier and the lugs subsequently separating from the barrel extension. The bolt and carrier retain sufficient inertia to cycle through the discharge cycle concurrent with reloading a subsequent cartridge.

A pistol may include a firing device arranged in a slide. The firing device includes a strikerhaving a striker head, characterized in that the device has at least two parallel striker springs arranged laterally on the side of the striker axis and bearing on at least two bearing surfaces arranged perpendicularly to the axis of the striker.

Firing pin lock

A firing pin lock for firearms is provided. The firing pin lock is a single piece of resilient metal that includes a pocket for receiving the head of the firing pin to prevent inadvertent discharge of the firearm. The firing pin lock can be mounted laterally in the bolt carrier group and is deflected outwardly by the action of the hammer.
