Miniature locator device for use with hunting arrows
A hunting arrow for tracking target animals is disclosed and described. The arrow can include a chamber. The arrow may also include a transmitter housing that is installable into the chamber. A pair of bores extending through the transmitter housing and chamber may be configured and adapted for receiving a pair of shear pins. The shear pins may secure the housing in the chamber. The transmitter housing may comprise an animal engagement member, such as a hook. The transmitter housing is ejected from the chamber when the arrow strikes a target animal and the hook stops the forward momentum of the transmitter housing with sufficient force to shear the shear pins, thereby ejecting and embedding the transmitter housing in the hide of the animal. The transmitter within the housing may broadcast the location of the animal to the hunter to enable easy tracking of the animal, if wounded.
Tracking Arrow
A tracking arrow. The tracking arrow includes a shaft, a tracker bracket, and an arrowhead. A nock is disposed on a second end of the shaft. A second end of the tracker bracket is removably secured to a first end of the shaft. A second end of the arrowhead is removably secured to the first end of the tracker bracket. A tracker unit is removably secured to the tracker bracket via a fastener such as an elastic band. The tracker unit includes a housing having a power supply, a GPS unit, and a transmitter therein, and further includes one or more barbs extending from the housing. When the tracking arrow penetrates a target, the tracker is configured to detach from the tracker bracket and embed itself in the target. The tracker is further configured to transmit its geographic location via the transmitter, allowing a hunter to locate the wounded animal.
SOUND EMITTING TRACKABLE ARROW
A sound emitting trackable arrow having an elongated cylindrical shaft that includes an insert member attached at one end and a nock member attached to the other end. A wireless tracking component may be coupled with either the insert member or the nock member, with the wireless tracking component fully enclosed inside the shaft. The wireless tracking component includes a plurality of electronic components which enable it to emit an audible sound in response to receiving an alert signal wirelessly and emit a signal strength value wirelessly which enables a real time proximity determination. A discrete, remote tracking device that is adapted to provide a user interface and to communicate wirelessly with the wireless tracking component is also provided. The remote tracking device is operative to continually maintain and display a determination of the approximate distance of the arrow and selectively cause the arrow emit an audible sound.
PROJECTILE TRACKING DEVICE
A projectile tracking device is disclosed. An example projectile tracking device includes a housing for connecting to a projectile (e.g., an arrow). The example projectile tracking device also includes a chamber formed in the housing and a microchip positioned at least partly in the chamber of the housing. The microchip emits a tracking signal for locating the projectile.
Electronic tracking system
An electronic tracking system for obtaining geographic or other information about a targeted object from deployed ordnance. Ordnance can be delivered from any suitable weapon or weapons system, including hand-held or artillery guns, manned or unmanned aircraft, etc. The ordnance can be substantially any projectile targeted at a human, animal or other object. Once deployed, the ordnance can provide a variety of information about location, the target, the shooter, or the ordnance itself. Such information can be transmitted at any suitable interval, even time-delayed or upon a condition. Preferably, the system also contains a receiver to receive the transmitted information. Once received, the information can be then provided to users in any appropriate fashion.

Tracking Systems, Devices, And Associated Methods
The present invention is directed to a tracking system and method for a hunting arrow that implements a long range wide area network (LoRaWAN) protocol. The tracking device may include a LoRaWAN antenna, a global positioning system (GPS) antenna, and a projectile configured and adapted to support the tracking device.
Arrow tracking device
The present invention relates generally to the field of arrows. More specifically, the present invention relates to an arrow tracking device that provides a mechanism for a user to locate an arrow after it is fired. The device comprises at least one arrow, which is further comprised of an arrowhead, shaft, nock, and fletching. The shaft features a GPS transmitter, while the nock features an LED. The arrowhead may be unscrewed from the shaft to reveal a USB port, which, in turn, may be plugged into a charging base to recharge the device. The device may further comprise a mobile application so that a user can utilize and customize the electronic functions of the device. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING THE TRAJECTORY OF AN ARROW
An apparatus for adding weight to an arrow and a system and method of correcting the trajectory of the arrow with the added weight is disclosed and described. The arrow can include a compensator designed to fit as a sleeve on a shaft of the arrow and the compensator has diameter that is larger than a diameter of the shaft of the arrow. The arrow sleeve is configured to strengthen the front part of the arrow shaft and may be configured to enable a user to aim the arrow with a bow that has been sighted for a standard arrow.
High impact strength lighted nock assembly
A matched arrow set including a first arrow and a second arrow. The first arrow including: a first shaft, a first bushing coupled to the first shaft, and a first nock received in the first bushing. The second arrow including: a second shaft, a second bushing coupled to the second shaft, and a second nock received in the second bushing. The first shaft and the first bushing define a first weight, the second shaft and the second bushing define a second weight greater than the first weight, and a first arrow weight is substantially the same as a second arrow weight.
