VALVE FOR METERING A FLUID
A valve for metering a fluid, for example, a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine, includes a valve-seat face, an electromagnetic actuator including an armature that includes a through-flow channel that opens with an outlet opening at an end face of the armature, a valve needle on which the armature is movably supported and that is operable using the armature, a valve-closing member that is actuatable by the valve needle and that cooperates with the valve-seat face to form a sealing seat, and a stop element that is mounted fixedly on the valve needle and that interacts with the at least one outlet opening of the at least one through-flow channel such that throttling takes place with respect to the least one through-flow channel when the armature is located with its end face at the stop element.
Valve Assembly And Fluid Injection Valve
A valve assembly may include: a valve body with a longitudinal axis and a cavity; a valve needle; and a driving device for displacing the valve needle. In some embodiments, the valve needle comprises a disc element. The disc element and the driving device comprise mutually facing and radially extending coupling surfaces, the coupling surfaces having an overlapping area of at least 35% of the cross-sectional area of the cavity. The driving device takes the disc element with it for displacing the valve needle in the opening direction solely by means of hydraulic interaction between the coupling surfaces when the driving device is displaced in the opening direction. The coupling surface of the driving device engages in a form-fit connection with the coupling surface of the disc element for pushing the valve needle towards the closing position.
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
A high pressure fuel pump includes: a pump body that forms a suction passage and a pressurizing chamber and slidably supports a plunger; and a control valve that opens a connection between the suction passage and the pressurizing chamber in a suction stroke, during which the plunger is driven toward a suction side for suctioning fuel into the pressurizing chamber, while the control valve controls closing timing, at which the connection between the suction passage and the pressurizing chamber is closed by the control valve in a delivery stroke, during which the plunger is driven toward a delivery side for delivering the fuel out of the pressurizing chamber. The pump body forms a release passage that is communicated with the suction passage. The release passage relieves the fuel, which is pressurized by the plunger, from the pressurizing chamber before the closing timing during the delivery stroke.
DIGITAL INLET VALVE
A digital inlet valve is the complementary assembly of an armature module, a body module and an actuation module enabling direct control over an air gap between a magnetic armature and a pole piece body.
Fluid-Injection Device For Internal Combustion Engines
The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines. Various embodiments of the teaching thereof may include a fluid injection device for internal combustion engines, for example: a valve body with a valve needle; a spring element compressed in a radial direction between the valve body and the valve needle; the spring element supporting the valve needle on the valve body; and the spring element guiding the valve needle to at least substantially prevent tilting of the valve needle relative to the longitudinal axis during operation of the fluid injection device.
Electromagnetically actuated valve
An electromagnetically actuated valve comprising a valve piston including a first end and an opposite second end, a valve plate at the first end of the valve piston, a spring plate which is fastened to the second end of the valve piston and which has a first planar contact surface, a valve spring that lies against the spring plate and that moves the valve plate into a closed position, and an electromagnet including a coil, an armature pin which has a second planar contact surface that is parallel relative to and that bears against the first planar contact surface, and an armature arranged on the armature pin, wherein the first planar contact surface and the second planar contact surface each have a diameter that is greater than a greatest diameter of the armature pin and a diameter of the second end of the valve piston.
ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY OF A DIGITAL INLET VALVE
An actuator assembly of a digital inlet valve for a fuel pump adapted to cooperate with an inlet valve member includes an actuator body in which is fixed a coil, a cover closing the body and, a magnetic core arranged in a core guiding bore provided in the actuator body. The magnetic core is slidable along a main axis in order, in use, to close an air gap under the influences of a first compression spring, and of a magnetic field, the core cooperating with the valve member.
High-Pressure Fuel Pump and Control Device
Provided is a high-pressure fuel pump in which responsiveness of closing a suction valve can be maintained even when the high-pressure fuel pump is increased in pressure or capacity of the high-pressure fuel pump is increased, thereby ensuring discharge efficiency. Therefore, the high-pressure fuel pump includes the rod that urges the suction valve in the valve opening direction, the mover that drives the rod in the valve closing direction, and the solenoid that generates a magnetic attraction force for moving the mover in the valve closing direction. After the suction valve starts moving from the suction valve closing position in the valve opening direction, the rod reaches the suction valve closing position and further moves in the valve opening direction.
Electromagnetic Switching Valve and High-Pressure Fuel Pump
The invention relates to an electromagnetic switching valve for a fuel-injection system of an internal-combustion engine, which has an actuator region, for moving a closing element, with a pole piece and with an armature and also with a solenoid for generating a magnetic flux in the armature and the pole piece, said armature having a region of magnetic-flux concentration.
VALVE FOR METERING A FLUID
A fluid metering valve includes a housing, an electromagnetic actuator that includes an armature that is separated from an inner wall of the housing by an annular gap, a throttle element connected to the armature or the housing and arranged in the annular gap to dampen a movement of the armature that is opposite to an opening direction, a valve seat surface, a valve closing body that cooperates with the valve seat surface to form a sealing seat, and a valve needle that (a) is actuatable by the actuator, (b) is arranged for actuating the valve closing body (c) extends through a borehole in the armature so that the armature is movably guidable on the valve needle, and (d) includes a stop arranged such that, during an actuation, the armature strikes against the stop in the opening direction to thereby open the sealing seat.
