A flow means with a housing and a fan to generate a fluid flow within a pipe or hose line of an intake monitoring system. The fan can be connected to the pipe or hose line via connecting pieces and can be driven to rotate. The invention creates a flow means which enables the direction of flow to be reversed. Respective blocking means are assigned to the connecting pieces and can be moved from an intake position (PS), in which an intake region of the fan is connected to the respective connecting piece into an exhaust position (PB), in which an exhaust region of the fan is connected to the respective connecting piece so the flow within the pipe or hose line is in a first direction of flow (S1) or in a second direction of flow (S2) as a function of the position (PS, PB) of the blocking means.

A high-pressure pump is disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet, and uses a first outlet passage to discharge to the air outlet. The switch (108, 212) may be used to switch the chopper power supply circuit (104, 202) or the full bridge rectifier circuit (106, 204) to be connected to the positive and negative input terminals (103, 105) of the air pump (102). The output voltage of the chopper power supply circuit (104, 202) and the output voltage of the full bridge rectifier circuit may be different (106, 204).

An air pump for an inflatable product may include a pressure valve assembly and an inflation-and-deflation control assembly. The inflation-and-deflation control assembly may include a switch assembly operatively coupled to the pressure valve assembly and a pump assembly operatively coupled to the switch assembly. The switch assembly may have a first position and a second position, and the pressure valve assembly may be configured to engage the switch assembly to maintain the switch assembly in the first position or the second position. When the pressure valve assembly detects that a pressure threshold has been reached within the inflatable product, the pressure valve assembly may disengage from the switch assembly.

An air pump for an inflatable product may include an inflation-and-deflation control assembly, a pump assembly, a pressure valve assembly, and a linkage assembly. The pressure valve assembly may detect the pressure inside an inflatable chamber of the inflatable product. Once a pressure threshold is reached within the inflatable chamber, the pressure valve assembly may activate the linkage assembly. The linkage assembly may cause the inflation-and-deflation control assembly to deactivate the air pump and place the air pump in a closed or sealed position.
