Methods and apparatus to diagnose a pneumatic actuator-regulating accessory
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to diagnose a pneumatic actuator-regulating accessor. An example method disclosed herein includes stroking a fluid valve operatively coupled to a field instrument and a pneumatic actuator-regulating accessory by pressurizing an actuator operatively coupled to the fluid valve. The example method also includes blocking a supply to the pneumatic actuator-regulating accessory and the field instrument, exhausting pressurized air from the actuator via the field instrument, measuring at least one of (1) positions of the fluid valve or (2) an output pressure as the pressurized air is exhausted from the actuator, and identifying a first operation of the pneumatic actuator-regulating accessory based on at least one of a travel rate of the fluid valve or the output pressure, the travel rate of the fluid valve based on the measured positions of the fluid valve.
Rotary drive device and a robot arm of a robot equipped therewith
A rotary drive device has a fluid-actuated rotary drive which has a drive housing and a drive unit rotatable about a main axis relative to the drive housing. The drive unit contains a pivot piston which divides two drive chambers from one another in the interior of the drive housing, which can be supplied with compressed air fluidic pressure medium controlled by a control fluid channel system, in order to cause a rotational movement of the drive unit. The rotary drive is equipped with a pressure detecting device, which enables pressure detection of the fluid pressure prevailing in the two drive chambers by means of pressure detecting channels formed separately with respect to the control fluid channel system. A robot arm is also proposed, which includes the rotary drive device as an arm joint.
Pressure booster
When a fluid is supplied to a first pressure-boosting chamber and/or a second pressure-boosting chamber of a pressure booster, either a first electromagnetic valve unit supplies a fluid discharged from a first pressurizing chamber to a second pressurizing chamber, or a second electromagnetic valve unit supplies a fluid discharged from a third pressurizing chamber to a fourth pressurizing chamber.
Leakage modulation in hydraulic systems containing a three-way spool valve
Hydraulic systems and associated methods configured to reduce leakage past a spool valve when the system is in a neutral state. Leakage reduction is achieved by shifting the spool valve within the spool bore. The amount of shifting can be controlled by a pressure controller that sets one or pressures in the system and actively/dynamically adjusts the system to achieve a desired pressure or set of pressures by shifting the spool valve.
Solenoid high pressure indexing valve system
A solenoid high pressure indexing valve system, having at least one solenoid manifold assembly with a manifold assembly and a plurality of solenoid valve assemblies; and a power supply assembly. The manifold assembly has a top face, first and second lateral faces, an inlet tube face, and a sensor face. The top face has a plurality of bores having respective valve bases and inlet-outlet passages. The first and second lateral faces each has a plurality of lateral holes. The inlet tube face is opposite to the sensor face and has an inlet hole, and the sensor face has a sensor hole. The manifold assembly further has an inlet passage and a plurality of outlet passages. The manifold assembly further has an inlet tube and a plurality of outlet tubes. The manifold assembly further has a pressure sensor.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL
Hydraulic control comprising at least one hydraulic valve, each hydraulic valve comprising a hydraulic distributor and an electric actuator. The hydraulic distributor comprises a valve slide mounted with the ability to slide in a body comprising hydraulic ports. The electric actuator is fixed to the body of the hydraulic distributor and comprises an electric motor, an electronic circuit comprising a circuit board, a linear-displacement output member coupled to the control slide, reduction gearing comprising gear wheels coupling the motor to the output member, and a housing in which the electric motor, the electronic circuit and the reduction gearing are mounted.
SYSTEM AND METHOD INCLUDING A FLUIDIC ACTUATOR AND A PRESSURIZED FLUID PROVISION DEVICE
A system, including: a fluidic actuator which can be acted upon by a pressurized fluid and has an actuator member, a pressurized fluid provision device which is adapted to carry out a position control of the actuator member and, within the position control, to act upon the fluidic actuator with the pressurized fluid in order to move the actuator member into a prescribed position, and a hose arrangement, including at least one hose via which the fluidic actuator is fluidically connected to the pressurized fluid provision device, wherein the pressurized fluid provision device is adapted to carry out the position control taking into account a system model describing the hose arrangement, the actuator and/or the pressurized fluid provision device.
Valve controller and method for operating a valve controller
A valve controller for electrically actuating at least one valve drive, with a control circuit, which is designed to influence an electric energy flow between an electric source and the valve drive and which includes a bus interface for communication with a superordinate control arrangement (2) as well as a sensor means, which is designed to determine physical variable of the energy flow changeable by electrically actuating the valve drive as well as for providing a sensor signal dependent upon the determined physical variable to the control circuit wherein the control circuit is designed to determine a status value for the valve drive based on the sensor signal and at least one characteristic value of a physical variable from the group: energy flow duration, energy flow voltage, energy flow current, fluid pressure and is designed to provide the status value to the bus interface.
