A joining device with wide accessibility for parts of furniture and furnishing items, of a first panel to a second panel to be moved towards each other to bring an edge of the second panel abutted in a tightening position against a surface of the first panel, includes a blocking group and a connection group. The blocking group is inserted inside a seat defined within the first panel and receiving the blocking group, and includes a toothed crown, which is housed in a casing positioned in a first holing in the first panel and which controls the movement of a grub screw engaging a pin of the connection group. A joining device, particularly for joining a shelf to a wall of a piece of furniture, having a cylindrical body associated in a first hole adapted to be provided transversely in the shelf and having a first axial seat for the rotatable coupling of a first stem of a screw provided with a first crown-shaped head that can be arranged rotatably within a second seat that is adjacent to the first seat. A-a second hole is adapted to be provided in the shelf at right angles to the first hole and accommodates, substantially flush with or below the upper surface, an insert. The insert is provided with a seventh seat for the third head of a first tool coupled rotatably with the first crown-shaped head.

A joining device, particularly for joining a shelf to a wall of a piece of furniture, includes a cylindrical body that can be associated in a first hole adapted to be provided transversely in the shelf and provided with a first axial seat for the rotatable coupling of the first stem of a screw provided with a first crown-shaped head that can be arranged rotatably within a second seat that is adjacent to the first seat. The cylindrical body is provided with a third seat, which is perpendicular and connected to the second seat, for the temporary coupling of a pinion, which interacts with the first crown-shaped head, which protrudes externally to the cylindrical body and is accommodated within a second hole.

A joining device with minimum visibility for parts of furniture and furnishing items, in particular connecting a first panel to a second panel, which must be moved towards each other in an approach direction to bring the edge of one panel buffered in a tightening position against a surface of the other panel, includes a blocking group and a connection group assembled on the panels. The blocking group is inserted inside a seat contained in the thickness of the panel on which the blocking group is applied, and the seat has a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the approach direction, and extending from an edge towards the inside of the panels.

A joint for use in a piece of furniture or other furnishing item with a shoulder and a shelf, stably interconnected by the joint perpendicularly to each other, is maneuvered with an actuation and blocking system. The joint includes a pin with a fixing element, which becomes at least partially inserted in holes defined in the shoulder and the shelf, the pin having a side hole for receiving a shaped stem that extends from the actuation and blocking group of the joint. The actuation and blocking group has a 90 transmission between a maneuvering point, which is accessible from the front of the furniture, and the shaped stem, which is inserted in the side hole of the pin. Reciprocal retention elements, provided between the pin and the actuation and blocking group, withhold the pin in the hole of the shelf housing the pin.

Assembly systems of particular use in assembling modular units, e.g., modular furniture, are provided. More particularly, a t-slot mechanism is provided that facilitates efficient, effective and aesthetic modular unit assembly.

An actuation and blocking system of a joint for use in a piece of furniture or other furnishing item for perpendicularly interconnecting a shoulder with a shelf, base or top includes a pin with a fixing element to the shoulder and the shelf, base or top and adapted to be at least partially inserted in a hole of the shoulder and of the shelf, base or top. The pin has a side hole for receiving a shaped stem, which extends from an actuation and blocking group of the joint positioned on the shelf, base or top parallel to the floor or the ceiling, which are close to the furniture or other furnishing item when assembled, the actuation and blocking group providing for a 90 transmission between a maneuvering point, accessible from the front or side of the furniture, and the shaped stem, inserted in the side hole of the pin.
