During locking operation, the drive cap can be bi-directionally rotated; and during unlocking operation, the drive cap can only be unidirectionally rotate, thereby achieving the purpose of easily recognize the locked or unlocked state according to different hand feeling in operation.
FASTENING DEVICE
The present disclosure illustrates a fastening device including a sleeve, a rotary knob device and a drive cap. The sleeve is formed with a through-hole which defines a rotation space at a side thereof. A fastening part and a position-limiting ring are formed on an outer side of the sleeve, and the position-limiting ring includes multiple position-limiting fastening grooves on a periphery thereof. The rotary knob device includes a rotary rod movably inserted through the through-hole. The assembly space of the sleeve is formed with a sliding inner hole for covering the position-limiting ring of the sleeve, and the position-limiting ring is longitudinally movable in the sliding inner hole, and the sliding inner hole includes two long protrusion rods and two short protrusion rods formed on the sidewall thereof and separately fastened in the position-limiting fastening grooves. Therefore, the fastening device can be operated for locking or unlocking easily.
Fastener for the temporary assembly of structures
The invention relates to a fastener (10) for the temporary assembly of structures (12, 13), comprising: a tubular body, extending between a first end and a second end comprising at least two longitudinal tabs (46); a hooking element, rotationally prevented and capable of sliding axially in the body, said fastening element comprising a tubular base and a plurality of elastic clips (62) connected to one end of said base, each clip comprising a hooking spur (74); a driving device for the fastening element; and a spreader (26) fixed relative to the body, the plurality of elastic clips being positioned around said spreader. The tubular base (60) comprises two longitudinal grooves in an outer surface; and the fastener is configured so that each tab (46) of the body is capable of sliding axially in one of said grooves.
Removable blind fastener
A removable blind fastener comprising an anchor having anchor members each having a threaded outer surface and a retainer section, and an anchor drive mechanism comprising a shaft having a top portion with a threaded section. The retainer section has a periphery that extends beyond a periphery of the elongated body. The anchor in a closed configuration is inserted through a frontal face of a hole on a work piece such that the retainer sections are positioned behind a rear face of the hole. The anchor is then set in an open configuration and the shaft is placed irrotatably between the anchor elements. A head having internal threads is engaged to the threaded outer surface and the threaded section such that rotation of the head causes a retraction of the anchor till at least a part of the retainer sections abuts the rear face of the hole.
One piece screws for, and methods for making and using, blind side fasteners and systems with free spin feature
Fastener embodiments of the invention comprise a freely translatable collet body, which at least partially translates within an auxiliary structure, and further comprise a captive threaded screw for rotationally engaging with the collet body to transform rotational movement into translational movement through substantial arresting of collet body rotation by way of an anti-rotation means. The screw comprises a free-spin feature that functionally, but not physically, decouples a drive tool from the collet body.
Remotely controllable fastening device
A remotely controllable fastening device for the detachable connection of components has a longitudinal axis and at least one fastening body for insertion into a fastening base, wherein the fastening body has an anchor which is insertable into the fastening base, wherein, for the form-closing and/or frictional anchoring of the fastening device in the fastening base, the anchor is moveable in at least a first direction, and wherein, for the disengaging of the fastening device, the anchor is respectively moveable in a second direction which is contrary to the first direction, and wherein the anchor is connected with a drive which is remote operatable and which is provided for operation with a fluid and which is internally arranged, the anchor being moveable by the drive in at least the second direction.
FASTENING PART AND METHOD FOR FORMING FASTENING PART
A fastening part 1 has a pin body 3 that is inserted in a through hole formed in a member of an object to be installed. The pin body 3 has elastic sections 12A, 12B and locking parts 14A, 14B that form pairs. The elastic sections 12A, 12B extend along the direction of insertion in the through hole of the object into which the elastic sections are to be inserted, and the distal ends that serve as the leading ends when inserted in said through hole form free ends and are capable of elastic deformation. The locking parts 14A, 14B protrude in mutually opposite directions from the free ends of the respective elastic sections 12A, 12B in directions that intersect with the direction of flexural displacement of the free ends of said elastic sections 12A, 12B that results from elastic deformation of the elastic sections 12A, 12B.
HEAT SINK CONNECTOR PIN AND ASSEMBLY
A heat sink connector pin includes a pin assembly with linkage that provides the movement of a pin head or cap in a downward movement to cause multiple movable fingers at an opposing end of the pin to mechanically move from a retracted position that allows insertion of the heat sink connector pin through an opening in the substrate, such as a through-hole, to move to an outward extended position so that the multiple fingers engage or grasp a bottom surface of the substrate. In one example, the movable fingers are rotatably connected to share a same rotational axis with each other. In one example, the pin assembly includes a sleeve adapted to receive the shaft structure and is adapted to engage with the pin head. The sleeve includes a substrate stop surface adapted to contact a top surface of the substrate during insertion of the pin through the substrate.
Biased blind side temporary fasteners, systems and methods
