Fastener structure and assembling method thereof
A fastener structure and an assembling method thereof are introduced. The fastener structure includes a head portion and a body portion. The body portion is movably connected to the head portion and includes a connecting section for assembling to an intermediate member. The intermediate member includes a material retaining section and can be further connected to an object. Partial material of the object would move or flow into the material retaining section when the intermediate member is forcefully pressed against the object, so that the intermediate member and the object are connected together. Since the body portion can be assembled to the intermediate member and the intermediate member can be further connected to an object, and the fastener structure can be fastened to and released from a target object, at least two objects can be repeatedly and quickly connected to and disconnect from one another using the fastener structure.

REUSABLE RELEASABLE RESTRAINT FOR EVACUATION ASSEMBLIES
A releasable restraint may comprise a bracket and a puller removably coupled to the bracket. A first tube portion and a second tube portion may be rotatably coupled to the puller. A torsion spring may be configured to bias the first tube portion in a first circumferential direction and the second tube portion in a second, opposite circumferential direction.
Tool and associated method for installing a blind fastener
A tool for installing a blind fastener. The tool includes a retention member and a gripping member that defines a longitudinal axis and is moveable relative to the retention member along the longitudinal axis, the gripping member further defining a receiving cavity that is elongated along the longitudinal axis, an axial opening into the receiving cavity, and a radial opening into the receiving cavity. The tool also includes a contact element at least partially received in the radial opening and a locking collar moveable relative to the gripping member along the longitudinal axis between at least a first position and a second position. In the first position the locking collar engages the contact element and urges at least a portion of the contact element into the receiving cavity. In the second position the locking collar is disengaged from the contact element.
Blind fastener with integrated anti-rotation feature, systems and methods
Fasteners and related systems according to the invention include a collet body having a first part of a two part anti-rotation arrangement and a cylinder body having a second part of the two part anti-rotation arrangement wherein the collet body and the cylinder body are mateably axially translatable with respect to each other, and have the same or similar outer diameter in some embodiments or not in others. A threaded member rotationally engages the collet body and compressively contacts the cylinder body during operation of the fastener to creating a clamping effect. Rotational interference between the first and second parts of the anti-rotation arrangement preferably occurs at sectional face portions of at least the collet body. Resistance to induced rotation of the cylinder body relative to a work piece rotation of the threaded member is preferably provided by a tool engaging a tool interface present on the cylinder body.
Tacking fastener
A blind tacking rivet includes a stem and a sleeve. The stem includes a body and a stem head. The stem head is removable from the body. The stem head deforms a portion of the sleeve during removal of the stem head. The stem head may be discarded or may be embedded within the sleeve.
CAP FOR TEMPORARY FASTENER
A cap for a temporary fastener comprises a hollow, cup-shaped body and an inwardly tapered neck. The hollow body fits over a workpiece-engaging portion of the temporary fastener, and the neck extends from the hollow body. The tapered neck terminates in a hollow tip that is sized and configured to fit over aligned holes in the joined workpieces and to contact a minimal surface area of the outermost workpiece to reduce surface damage to the workpieces such that any damage will be removed when the holes are countersunk in the normal course of assembly.
TEMPORARY CLAMPING FASTENER WITH EXPANDABLE CLAMP BLADE
A temporary clamping fastener is disclosed, and includes a bushing having an inner cavity, an upper open end, and a lower open end. The temporary clamping fastener also includes a pull shaft having an elongated body and a slot extending through the elongated body. A portion of the pull shaft is disposed in the inner cavity of the bushing, and the pull shaft is configured to linearly translate relative to the bushing. The temporary clamping fastener also includes a clamp blade disposed within the slot of the pull shaft and rotatable between a stowed position where the clamp blade is housed within the slot and a deployed position and a portion of the clamp blade extends from the slot of the pull shaft to create an engagement surface for through-hole clamping.
SINGLE SIDE TEMPORARY FASTENER WITH CONSTANT PRESSURE FEATURE
A single side temporary fastener (SSTF) capable of maintaining a clamping force in a material stack subject to material creep or adjunct extrusion during clamp up processes is disclosed. The SSTF comprise a rotationally constrained but freely translatable collet body that is disposed within an auxiliary structure such as a fastener housing. A fastener comprises the aforementioned collet body, which at least partially translates within the aforementioned auxiliary structure, and further comprises a threaded screw for rotationally engaging with the collet body, which by way of an antirotation means associated therewith and with the auxiliary structure, is rotationally constrained but is free to axially translate. Constant clamping pressures are made possible in such embodiments by the inclusion of at least one biasing element between compression force transmitting elements and/or assemblies of the fasteners.
Quick-clamping spindle
Quick-clamping spindle contains two pieces, firstly a spindle body supplied with a clamping member at one of the ends thereof and secondly a control rod for controlling the use/withdrawal of said clamping member, which rod is contained in said spindle body as well as a member for maneuvering and controlling the clamping member placed at the other of the ends of said spindle body, which simultaneous control member has a helical ramp provided in the wall of said spindle body engaging a transverse shaft borne by said control rod. The spindle further has a device for rotationally blocking the control rod in the spindle body. It is intended for use in the machining field.
