SEALED ROLLING BEARING
A sealed rolling bearing is provided which includes slingers, and seal members disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, and sealing the rolling element installation area. The radially inner and outer portions of each slinger are bent inwardly such that a labyrinth portion is defined between the radially outer bent portion of the slinger and the radially inner surface of the outer ring, the labyrinth portion having a path length, in the axial direction of the bearing, longer than the material thickness of the slinger.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device has a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member has a cylindrical part mounted on an outer member, and a lip. The second sealing member has a sleeve into which an inner member is fitted, and a flange extending radially outward. The flange has a rigid flange portion connected to the sleeve, and a circular annular elastic flange portion that adheres to the rigid flange portion. An annular protrusion is formed on an inner periphery of the elastic flange portion, and is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the inner member. In an initial state, the inner peripheral surface of the protrusion has a cylindrical portion having an inner diameter that is less than that of the sleeve. The cylindrical portion has a length of at least 0.15 mm in the initial state.
Roller bearing seal assembly
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a rotor for a railway roller bearing seal assembly is provided. The rotor includes an annular body rotatable about a central axis and including radially inner and outer rings. The annular body includes an intermediate portion connecting the radially inner and outer rings and spacing the radially inner ring in a first direction from a base portion of the annular body. The annular body further includes a pocket formed at least in part by the intermediate portion and a snap-fit portion axially intermediate the base portion and a free end portion of the radially inner ring. The snap-fit portion of the annular body is configured to form a snap-fit connection with a snap-fit member of a slinger that extends into the pocket.
Plastic slinger with contacting bumper feature with labyrinth
A seal assembly includes a housing defining a bore and a shaft received in the bore. A seal member is secured to the housing for sealing a gap between the housing and the shaft. A slinger is secured to the shaft. The slinger being made from plastic and including a first semi-circular part and a second semi-circular part that is secured to the first semi-circular part. The slinger includes a radially extending wall portion with a raised bumper feature at a radially outer surface opposing the seal member. The slinger further includes an axially protruding labyrinth feature extending from the radially extending wall portion and toward the seal member. The first semi-circular part and the second semi-circular part can be snap fit to one another.
BEARING SEALING DEVICE
A bearing sealing device has relatively and coaxially rotating inner and outer members. A first member is fitted onto the inner member, and a second member includes a seal lip portion and a core member fitted into the outer member. The first member has an inner diametrical side cylindrical portion, circular plate portion, and outer diametrical side cylindrical portion. The core member has a cylindrical portion and circular plate portion. A first labyrinth portion is formed along the shaft direction in a gap between the outer diametrical side cylindrical portion and the core member cylindrical portion which face each other diametrically. A second labyrinth portion is formed such that an end face on the bearing space side in the outer diametrical side cylindrical portion faces the core member circular plate portion. A diametrical direction length of the end face is equal to or more than 0.6 mm
Hub unit
A hub unit includes: a bearing section including an outer ring, an inner ring disposed coaxially with and inside the outer ring, rolling elements disposed in a bearing inner space, and a sealing member sealing the bearing inner space at an end on a vehicle inner side; a hub ring including a body portion, and a wheel mounting flange portion on which a wheel is to be mounted; and a covering member protecting the bearing section from a foreign substance. The covering member is fixed to rotate integrally with the hub ring and the inner ring, and covers an end on the vehicle inner side of the bearing section. A part of the covering member opposing to an end surface on the vehicle inner side of the outer ring is not parallel to the end surface.
Wheel bearing assembly
A wheel bearing assembly may include a wheel hub having a hub flange; one or more inner rings configured to be mounted to one side of the wheel hub; an outer ring provided radially outward of the one or more inner rings; a spacer coupled to a vehicle-body-side end portion of an inner ring disposed on a vehicle-body-side; and one or more rolling elements provided between the one or more inner rings and the outer ring. The one or more inner rings may be configured to be held on the wheel hub by plastically deforming a vehicle-body-side end portion of the wheel hub in a radially outward direction. A plurality of recesses for accommodating rotating elements of a constant velocity joint may be formed on an inner peripheral surface of the vehicle-body-side end portion of the wheel hub in a spaced-apart relationship with each other along a circumferential direction.
CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT FOR VEHICLE
A constant velocity joint for a vehicle may include: a hub housing combined with the constant velocity joint in the hub housing; a bearing assembly including an inner race fitted on an outer surface of the hub housing, an outer race spaced a predetermined distance apart from the inner race and fitted on a knuckle, and a power transmission member disposed between the inner race and the outer race; and a boot having a band seat that is positioned on the inner race of the bearing assembly, the boot having a fixing band fixed on a top of the boot and the boot being coupled to the inner race by the fixing band, where the boot includes a boot lip that is formed at one end or both ends of the band seat and protrudes toward the knuckle.
