RETRACTION SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR BRAKE SYSTEM
A retraction spring having: a) a bias device which stores energy during a brake apply and releases the energy during a brake release b) an anchor arm integrally attached at the support side arm of the bias device; c) a retraction arm integrally attached at the pad side arm of the bias device; wherein the loop axis lies within and is generally parallel to a transverse plane; wherein during the brake apply, movement of the retraction arm is away from the bias device, away from the anchor arm, and/or toward a rotor and results in the energy being stored in the bias device; and wherein during the brake release, the energy stored in the bias device is released and transferred to the retraction arm to result in movement of the retraction arm toward the bias device, toward the anchor arm, and/or away from the rotor.
DISC BRAKE

The brake pad has a moveable pad retainer formation to permit assembly and retention of the brake pad in the brake pad support structure such that the brake pad is held for operation of the disc brake.
CALIPER FOR VEHICLE BRAKE
A caliper for a vehicle brake may include: a caliper body assembly coupled to a torque cover having a friction pad installed therein, and having a first installation groove and a coupling groove connected to the first installation groove; a plate disposed so as to face the caliper body assembly, and including a second installation insertion coupled to the first installation groove and having a first coupling hole facing the coupling groove; a spacer disposed between the caliper body assembly and the plate, maintaining a gap between the caliper body assembly and the plate using an elastic force, and having a second coupling hole facing the first coupling hole; and a fastener coupled to the coupling groove through the second coupling hole and the first coupling hole.
BRAKE SYSTEM
A brake system that includes a brake piston and a spindle. The brake piston includes a piston pocket defined in the brake piston. The piston pocket includes a threaded portion. The spindle includes a threaded portion. The threaded portion of the spindle is adapted to threadably engage the threaded portion of the piston pocket.
BRAKE CLIP FOR DISC BRAKE ASSEMBLY AND DISC BRAKE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SUCH A BRAKE CLIP
A disc brake assembly includes a brake clip having a U-shaped section and a plurality of dimples. The U-shaped section has a base leg and opposing upper and lower legs extending from the base leg. The plurality of dimples is on the upper leg and extend in a direction from the lower leg to the upper leg.
Vehicular disc brake
The vehicular disc brake comprises a caliper bracket 3, a caliper body 6 attached to the caliper bracket 3, and friction pads 7, 7 disposed on both sides of a disc rotor 2, and the caliper body 6 comprises an action part 6a provided with cylinder holes 6f, 6g through which a large-diameter piston 10 and a small-diameter piston 11 are inserted, and a bridge part 6c extending across the outer periphery of the disc rotor 2. Thinned parts 6n, 6p are provided respectively in positions corresponding to the pistons 10, 11 in a disc-radially inner wall 6i of the bridge part 6c. The volume of the thinned part 6b corresponding to the large-diameter piston 10 on the disc turn-out side when the vehicle is moving forward is less than the volume of the thinned part 6p corresponding to the small-diameter piston 11 on the disc turn-in side.
Disc Brake For A Motor Vehicle and Brake Pad Assembly Therefor
A disc brake for a motor vehicle comprising a guide in which at least one brake pad assembly is guided such that it can move in a braking manner, wherein the brake pad assembly has a brake pad carrier on which a vehicle brake pad is attached which can be interacted with a brake disc in order to achieve a braking effect, wherein the brake pad carrier has at least one retaining tongue, wherein the guide has at least one receiving region and wherein the retaining tongue can be accommodated in the at least one receiving means by being guided in an actuation direction, wherein a reset device is in contact with the at least one retaining tongue, via which reset device a reset force acting against the actuation direction can be applied to same subsequent to an elastic deformation caused by braking deflection of the brake pad assembly, wherein the reset device has an elastically deformable region for resetting the brake pad carrier and a plastically deformable region or the permanent adaptation to a wearing of the vehicle brake pad. According to the invention, with this disc brake, the reset device can only be plastically deformed, as a result of a force acting thereon in the actuation direction along a guide surface of the receiving region, if the reset device has adopted a predetermined, exclusively elastic deformation as a result of this force, wherein the plastically deformable region is formed as a loop and is in direct contact with the retaining tongue and can also roll out along the guide surface during the plastic deformation.
Disc brake
A disc brake having an actuation mechanism, a disc brake rotor, first and second brake pad mounting structures, and first and second brake pads. The first and second mounting structures may have formations that affect fitting of the first and second pads.
Disc Brake, and Flat Spring of a Hold-Down Assembly for the Brake Pads of a Disc Brake
The invention relates to a disc brake comprising a brake calliper (1) engaging over a brake disc (2) and brake pads (3) on both sides of the brake disc, a hold-down means (10) for the pads securing the brake pads (3) against falling out of the disc brake, which extends, in contact with the rear plates (5) of both brake pads (3), in the transverse direction in relation to same, and comprising a flat spring (12) which is spring-elastically in contact with the side of the hold-down means (10) for the pads facing away from the brake pads (3), which extends in the longitudinal direction thereof, and which is supported with both spring ends (31, 32) thereof in spring abutments (21, 22). A securing means (8) is a component of one of the spring abutments, which extends transverse to the hold-down means (10) for the pads and to the flat spring (12). In order to improve and simplify the assembly of the hold-down assembly by technical means, e.g. after exchanging the brake pads, according to the invention, a further component of the hold-down means (21) of the spring is a clip (40) which is connected to the brake calliper (1) via the securing means (8), and with which the inner side (45) of the spring end (31) facing the securing means (8) is in contact.
